平的电子电路。 肯定会学物理化学，不过这是化学课。
其实，你要申请biomedical informatics，这些似乎都不重要，重要是你要学过一些计
算机课，比如数据结构，computer architecture, 算法等等。还有编程要好，至少C和
C++要很熟。 |

Engineering的master，本科是pharmaceutical engineering。明年就要毕业了，觉得
挺茫然的。毕业论文主要是生物方面的，computational biology。
不才学浅，目前觉得好像学这个主要是去medical devices company或者去医院做
clinical engineer。
觉得clinical engineer这个发展路线在北美好像还不错的样子，目前联系了本地的一
些医院，问问有没有招intern或者practicum volunteer之类的（经济不景气，好像很
多都没有budget），得到了一些还不错的回复。
但是毕竟只是学生，对社会了解很短浅，不知道到底哪个发展路线更好一些。
如果是clinical engineer，最终不知道能发展到什么程度？
如果去公司，说不定可以回国混混……但是一个fresh mater，啥也没有，没经验没人
脉，要从哪里入手比较好呢？

学信息学则是一个逐渐壮大的学科，跟医院直接密切相关，直接服务于医院系统。我们
希望成立这样一个方向的版面，主要讨论跟医学、生物信息学甚至一切跟计算相关的生
物医学问题。
如果版面能以成立，至少会有如下益处：
1. 介绍熟悉生物信息学的应用软件：很多开源/免费的软体，如果熟悉算法的话，将大
大减少应用过程中的疑惑。实际上，生物学方面的算法大部分都不复杂。
2. 熟悉医学信息学的概念。医学信息学我一直认为将来会是信息学的主流。
3. 帮助有志于此方向的同学熟悉相关课程，需要的技术。

9月11日，北京大学-IDG/麦戈文脑研究所教授饶毅致美国国立卫生院（NIH）的信在生
物医学界刷屏了，这封洋洋洒洒三千余字的信《饶毅致信美国科技官员：科学家应该有
脊梁》（全文附后）向NIH致以了强烈反击，随后朋友圈开始刷屏。
一开始端端酱看到这内容也一头雾水，不少华人科学家陷入恐慌，担心今后国际研究受
阻。且慢，我们不妨来捋捋这件事。相信大部分人在转发饶教授的回应时并不会先看原
文，所以不知道到底发生了什么，但大量情绪渲染的文字并不利于问题的了解和解决。

二，社会能负担的就这么高的比例，中国是长官意志，美国是利益集团，说到底是社会
对这些基础研究有多少需求度，社会愿意付多少钱，而不是基础研究队伍的声音有多大。
二五，社会负担得起的钱是有定数的，如果不做总量控制的队伍数量统计，不负责任的
增大PhD 数量，供求关系失衡还会更严重，这个失衡关系包含千老劳力继续贬值，和pi
的申请书贬值。
三，biomedical PhD除学界的工作外，另一个主要出路是药企研发，实际上，这些年药
企研发的队伍也在缩编。
