车上四个人，后排两个朋友没系安全带，一个朋友手碰肿了，一个朋友胸口撞了一下有
点肌肉拉伤；我和LD在前排系了安全带，膝盖碰青了一点。
是辆02年的旧车，没买collision和comprehensive, 只买了Geico的liability之类的。
Bodily Injury Liability保车上的body injury吗？
看条文说Bodily Injury (BI) Liability coverage pays damages for other people'
s injuries or death resulting from an at-fault accident involving an insured
vehicle or driver.
肌肉拉伤的朋友去了ER, 拍了片子，没有大碍，如果有账单寄过来的话，我们的Bodily

Bodily Injury Liability(BI) $250k/$500k
Property Damage Liability(PD) $100k
Uninsured Motorist $250k/$500k
Underinsured Motorist $250k/$500k
二手车如果只值几千可以不保自己的车。要保自己的车也选择high deductible，比如
Comprehensive(COMP) $1000 deductible
Collision(COLL) $1000 deductible
原因是claim多了保费会大涨，保险主要是防止大事故巨额赔偿，小事故自己出钱。
如果有房子和较大一笔家庭财产，可以加上：
1 million umbrella insurance or higher |

在加州的话， 如果楼主是在车主的允许下开车出的事故的话， 车主的保险是primary,
楼主的保险是excess 或secondary, 意思是车主的保险不够赔的话， 才由楼主的保险
来赔。现在的情况是车主是半保， 他对自己车的损伤的赔偿额度是0， 所以应由楼主
的保险来赔， 如果楼主的保险也只有半保的话， 那就是楼主的自己掏钱帮车主修。
所以弄清楚谁是primary, 谁是secondary, 这个问题好解决。车主虽然是primary,但这
个案子是楼主的责任， 因为车主没有全保。
我再展开说一下更复杂的情况，可能更能澄清大家的迷惑。 如果事故比楼主所描述要
大， 我是说假如啊。 比如楼主疏忽，跟其它车碰上， 造成对方人员受伤（bodily
injury），双方的车都有损伤（对方叫Property damage， 己方叫Physical damage）
， 这些谁来理赔？还是根据车主的保险是primary, 楼主的保险是secondary的原则。
