holes, seller disclose 过去没有发现过termite（他买这个房子10年）但是有
carpenter ants,做过carperter ants的treatment， inspector说这个holes只是treat

十几只；有的蜂很要紧，得赶快处理，比如会结巨大巢的蜜蜂或者会钻木头的

talking about frameless setup here.
What size doors, are you replacing old ones or just install a new one?
My trim carpenter charge me $20 per door to install just to give you some
ideas. That is a pre-hung door, so he does have to drill the door lock or
router the hinges. |

1。只TREAT此处的白蚁，我有 WARRANTY，所以是免费的。
2。整栋房子TREAT，这个可以消灭房子里 DRY WALL 下检测不到的白蚁，并且可以预防
五年。500块。
他还说我家房梁上有CARPENTER ANTS也是吃木头的，也要干掉。这个是初始费150，以后要做四个QUARTER，每个QUARTER 75，总共是一年450。
请问有经验的，这个500块治白蚁和450治蚂蚁是正常标准吗？ |

我今天跟附近的邻居打招呼，他笑着说我是第N个号称要买这个房子的，好几个人都签
了合同不知为什么walk away了。
我找个INSPECTOR， 找得很急所以不是很好。 做了INSPECTIOn，没有查出问题。 今天
我找人做了WDO，就是查有没有白蚁的，因为我们在南方。他看到很多蚂蚁，有
CARPENTER ANT。他说这个房子肯宁有moisture issue. 因为有些蚂蚁只有生活在潮湿
的地方。 我们甚至在楼上看到很多蚂蚁， 他说墙壁里肯定有过水。
房子的外面也有很多的蚂蚁，有些都钻进墙角的缝隙里。 他说即使我们做pest
control,如果找不到那里有moisture， 蚂蚁还会回来的。 我已经给我home inspector
打过电话， 问题是他没有特殊的仪器去测量墙壁里湿度
这样的房子还能买吗？另外我们的房价比市场价低了10%。但是这么多的修理恐怕修了
以后和市场价也差不多了。 |

28. 油漆：屋外屋内的油漆、涂料多少年？掉色否？含铅否？
29. 地毯：Carpenter ants ？漏水？泼过其他化学物品或涂料？
30. 木料：阁楼木梁材料？Engineered wood？国内叫三合板？厨房,窗户是实木还是贴
面木料？Engineered wood好不？它比普通木头的优势还是很明显的，我能想到的缺点
就1个，含有站合剂，可能有类似甲醛之类的化学品。
31. 通风气流：gutter不经常清理,造成堵塞？还有就是屋顶valley的地方.容易渗水？
穿堂风。前门对后面的房子不聚财。
32. 隔音隔热：隔音隔热性能、材料？各个房间之间相互声音的影响？楼上下的影响？
拉衣柜们的声音。和邻居隔音？privacy?
33. 杂音：巨大的风扇在哪个夹层转的声音？
34. 室内：bedbug, frass, exit holes, Powder-post beetles or termite |

offer了一个1880年的房子，刚刚被接受，应该在11月底close
事先发现房子有以下问题：
1。房子外面边角的柱子上发现有carpenter ant & powder post beetle，要做pest
control
2。gutter和至少部分siding肯定要换，
3。里面要装修一下厨房和加个浴室等等
我们现在暂时住在一个小公寓里，第一个宝宝马上要在12月初出生了，准备让父母过来
帮忙。所以现在如何把这些事情协调起来做是个大问题。
我们的一个想法是先做pest control，保证pest不会造成更大的危害，但是因为药水什
么的对人是有毒的（毒性3个月),这段时间就不能搬进去了；而且因为是冬天了，估计
外面的装修也不太好做，等开春了再装修，就要在小公寓里多挤好几个月，那边房贷也
得付。

以前钢结构时 就遇到不少热胀冷缩造成的问题 不是没有solution 而是基本上只有
大builder敢搞 这几十年 老汉没嚼的老美这行业聪明了多少 你这铝合金结构搞不

this summer was getting an exterminator to spray my house, patio, lawn, and
garage.
It got rid of everything including carpenter ants, spiders, centipedes. |
