The side of the story I heard is that the GFP cloned by Prasher did not emit
fluorescence as it should have. Martin Chalfie did a PCR cloning based on
his construct and fixed that problem. I think it is fair that Prasher still
gets quite a bit money for selling the patent. However, he is not creative
at all when luck strikes, not simply personality problem. He is blind about
the big picture.

首先解释一下自己的背景和找工作的目标。本人烂校CS Ph.D.毕业，Ph.D.期间无工作经验，无Intern经验。目标是在local找一份工作，不求A,M,G，不求高薪，只要能给offer给办H1B就行。
先说说找工作的过程吧：2010年11月开始断断续续的看CRLS。虽然以前上过数据结构和
算法课，不过都快忘光了，基本上是从头学一遍。2011年1月底投出第一份简历。上周
拿到一个offer。还有一个onsite结束后面试官说我是目前的candidate里最好的，很可
能会给offer，但是要等到下周中才有结果。
第一个公司催的紧，而且地理位置很理想，也是我想要的职位，打算从了。花了一个半
月找工作，终于可以划下句号了。
以菜鸟的状态进入本版，这期间得到了版上的很多帮助和
BLESS。谢谢！

函数即可。我依葫芦画瓢写了两个:

1)写一段代码，给一个字符串，例如"30*(5+10)",输出计算结果。
知道大概是用两个stack，但有好多细节不懂，如怎么只扫描一个这个字符串就把数字
和operator放在两个stack里？还有就是如何在存operator的stack中定义优先级？
2）现在给定一个函数，f(x),x在某值之前是非递减的，在某值之后是非递增的。设计一
个算法快速查找这个值。
知道应该改binary search,但具体的判定array[middle]的条件有什么好的想法？怎么
选择仍哪一半啊？因为array[middle]可能同时大于或小于array[start],array[end]
3)有一个奇怪的linkedlist,除了next pointer还有一个random pointer指向一个随机
的节点。问如何实现clone函数。
这个题貌似很多地方都考，没大看懂题意，是问如何实现linkedlist里的clone函数？

做的东西是码农为主，兼做一点点machine learning方面的研究。公司这两年投了2.5B
在我要去的这个大组，去年已经有1B的revenue了。感觉人少机会多，当然也会更累些
。但是公司假期比较多（两周的带薪shutdown，个人带薪假没有上限找经理批），而且
work life balance据说还比较好。
Yahoo！match了almost same package+20K sign on+free food
不过职位是纯Coding。Model都是Yahoo！ Lab出的，认识的大部分在Yahoo的人都在Lab
里，让自己也很汗颜，sigh。。。Yahoo！投简历后直接给的Y day onsite，onsite安
排的很狗血，考的问题也就是微软难度。只有最后一个面试官是machine learning 相

首先我同意三楼的, 代码长短不是最重要的, 还得看效率.
楼主的代码确实短, 想必花了心思压缩.
但我觉得有几个问题.
一个问题是每个Ladder object有只有一个prev指针.
这种情况下, 如果某个单词在很多个ladder里面出现的话, 必须要构造很多个Ladder
objects. 不知这样的空间效率如何.
第二个问题是第一个while循环的终止条件是queue是empty的, 如果我没理解错的话.
这样即使是找到了start, 循环还会继续下去. 因为楼主在dict里把出现过的单词都
remove了, 循环必定会终止而且也不会出现更长的ladder. 算法是正确的, 但终止时间
可能会晚了点. 应该在找到start后就可以终止下一个level的循环了.
第三个问题是修改了dict...这个不重要, 可以像三楼那样clone一个就行. 我个人是用
了个hashmap保存已经visit过的word, 因为我的这个hashmap还有其他用处,所以也就顺
便用在这里, 没有clone.

虽然只扣了$6, 但是很奇怪他们是怎么拿到我的卡号信息的
