Update: I sent all pictures to Midwestsports, and long emails back and forth
. They acknowledged that they didn't have the correct sized racket at the
time I made the order, so it took them a few days to order from a competitor
, then the mess.
So it looks like someone from the competitor or general supplier made up a
fake #2 size racket to clean up the last stock.
Now they offer me a free upgrade to the new model Pure Control Tour from the

thank you :) this is amazing. they can synchronize their tripletoe doubletoe
blah when 'flying' in the air. chinese competitors are always good masters
of technique - i am so proud. i like the moment when both she and he
gestured to the camera to include their coach when waiting for score.
Is this the free dance part or the short program? and it seems to me the
championship on ESPN last night was/is in Japan. and there were no chinese
competitors. maybe it is a regional comp.

I am actually in the Dallas area.
I take lessons at a studio. There are pro/am competitions that my teacher
recommend, but they are sooooo expensive, and there isn't many competitors
in their 20's at all. I think one important reason is that they are too
expensive to afford.
So i want to look for competitions for amateur couples within driving
distance. Not that I have a partener yet. But I think if there are
affordable competitions with more competitors, and it is within driving
distance, it

I agree that being serious in dancing requires a lot of devotion in time,
but what I meant to say is that the reason that the very small number of
competitors in the pro/am compeitions is due to the high price tag. I
belive events like MAC has a magnitute more number of competitors comparing
with the pro/am competitions.

dual pixel其实也是有损的。
就是拿佳能来说吧,按照dual pixel工艺如果做成普通传感器,那是40MP的分辨率,
佳能损失了一半的分辨率,做成了DPAF。
现在也就是competitor才24-28M,假如competitor都升级到30-40M了,佳能要跟进的话
拿得做成80MP的感光器才行了。

半年前写的,贴在学校的Chinese Friendship Association里。陆陆续续地得到一些反
馈,总的还不错,所以斗胆在这里贴出来,希望对版里找工作的朋友们有些帮助。

关于在美国找工作的一些体会
毕业离开学校已经3年多了,其实自打毕业后就一直想写一些找工作的体会和大家分享
,但是想法毕竟是想法,至于落实还是一拖再拖。一来自己老是试图找到一些偷懒的借
口,二来也总觉得自己好像还没静静思考而理出一个很好的头绪,深恐胡言乱语,最后
倒搞得弄巧成拙,误人子弟。
但是俗话说世事难料。过去几天,短短数日,恰逢职业生涯一落一起,虽谈不上是什么
大风大浪,过程上也没有什么大喜大悲,但是左右相顾,放眼所及,尽是同僚惶惶,不
禁颇有感触,当年找工作的那番辛苦历历在目。于是下定决心,抱着被狗血喷头的危险
在此涂鸦一把。

主要问题是content availability。要挑战果轮的智商还是很难的,果轮可以轻松地把
任何competitor用户的智商降低到他们的level,然后用充足的经验来打败这些
competitor。
对于果轮来说,再牛的功能,再in的造型,神马都是浮云,神马都挡不住他们为晚期癌
症患者捐款的冲动和狂热。

大公司都很黑,但是一般都是黑自己的competitor和supplier。
像Google这样黑自己的partner,还是有点儿过于下作了。
先是CEO亲自出马打入Apple的board,把人家的机密,什么iPhone,tablet
之类都探听清楚了,然后自己回来赶紧抄袭。
抄袭吧又没有把握,所以忽悠了几个Moto之流的傻子,给自己抬轿子造舆论。
现在看着势头起来了,就自己推出这个N1。当然还是有点儿扭扭捏捏地,发布会上
还是把HTC也拉上了,虽然phone已经不打HTC的牌子了。
这个Moto的CEO也参加发布会,我看也是不得已。如果不去,岂不是更显得自己
是被耍了?去了以后发表了一番言论,宣称不认为N1是competitor。
Yeah right.
不过这家伙迟到了,号称是因为traffic。这个小动作有点儿意思。。。
Moto这位CEO就是脑子不清楚。
iPhone 2009年的revenue有15+ billion,margin 50+%。
(当然谷轮们不识数,搞不懂Apple的subscription accounting,
非说卖phone不赚钱。)

Yes. App Store is a battleground. Our main competitor is a Chinese
developer company. They do mimic our functions and gave bad ratings.
We also know our competitors posted promotion code online. :)

most consumers would tell you that value means getting more with less. it's
also the basic principle of market economy around demand vs supply.
there is no need to blast competition. if future apple product can prove
itself worthy of the price tag, people will choose it. same line goes to the
competitors.
things a monopolist hates and end consumers (me included) love to see:
- availability or threat of substitute products or services
- entry of new competitors
- high intensity of competitive riv

In 2011 Q1, Apple spent $560,000 lobbying the federal government. This is
roughly one third the amount on lobbying as its competitors. Search giant
Google spent $1.48 million in the first quarter, up from $1.38 million a
year ago, while Microsoft spent $1.72 million in the first quarter of both
