(Russel, etc), some could be totally wrong.
There are two approaches to know the world: induction and deduction.
Logic is above all. It is neither induction nor deduction. Logic (like
syllogism) gives the rules/laws to do deduction. There are surely
classifications of logic, like proposition logic, predicate logic, etc. But
in general, Logic does not KNOW the world directly, but gives us tools to
know the world.

上海译文1987年《猜想与反驳》的中文版阅读，做了一些笔记。Popper的科学哲学论作
主要是三本书：《科学发现的逻辑》，《猜想与反驳——科学知识的增长》和《客观知
识——一个演化论的研究》。通过这三本著作，Popper较为全面地阐述了他的科学“证
伪主义 (refutability or falsifiability) 的观点和“三个世界”的学说，并且和当
时流行的分析哲学观点做了详细的论战。
《猜想与反驳》延续了《科学发现的逻辑》中集中体现的Popper招牌精神：科学的可证
伪性。相比哲学（形而上学）和各类社会学乌托邦理想，科学的意义在于提出全称命题

idea.
at least in " the life of the cosmos" by Lee Smolin ( a very good physist), he
mentioned that the info from outer galaxy intelegent may be coded in Junk
DNA's.
and I think even Lee smolin is not the first one to have this idea, but i have
no time to Kao3 Gu3.
BTW, for those who likes science fiction, the life of the cosmos is really a
very good book to read.

supporting it, e.g. evolution of bacteria.
However, there is currently no direct evidence I know of which says that
evolution can lead to speciation on a big scale.
So macroevolution is more of a reasonable conjecture right now.
All the current evidence supporting macroevolution does not stand ultimately
to the attack of creationist biologists yet. (Don't discount them, some of
them are very very good at science.)

As I said, there is one true historical event (sequence of events) that no
one actually witness the process (of creation), but how you and I try to
explain the
outcome (our conjecture of the unseen process based on outcome) differs
based on our prior beliefs.
The events are objectives, but interpretation of observations are subjective.
1+1=2 or 1+1=10 are the same, but the interpretation/presentation of the "
truth" depends on your /my "perspective" of base. |
