早上六点，被手机的闹表叫醒。不同的是，不是在家里，而是将近200miles的iowa小镇
Dubuque的hotel.
迅速的穿好衣服。放上点钱，关掉手机。穿鞋。出门。
可能是因为在更西边的缘故。天亮更迟一些。所以跑出去还感觉很黑。
决定先顺第四街往东。
住的hotel比较特别。不是什么星级的，甚至都不是连锁的那种。
也不算motel.很老，但是还算干净。(网上有review说scary我倒没有感觉到:)
有点另类的是大堂的沙发放了俩印第安假人。。
位置很好，算'downtown'。就在和Iowa welcome center同样一个block.
窗户就可以看到courthouse的金色圆顶。
东边就是Port of Dubuque. river musuem还有casino.西边就是Fourth Street
Elevator

周末白天开在405上，大概LAX到UCLA之间的样子，被LAPD给抓超速！限速65，我开77，
不算很过分吧，这年头有几个开在75迈以内的？而且周围比我快的有的是。本人这几年
来一项遵纪守法，这次被抓实在莫名其妙。罚款是小事，我也可以选择上traffic
school去点。不过实在是咽不下这口恶气，
大家看看我上庭的胜算有多少？有在West LA courthouse打过官司的share 一下经验吧

前一阵有好几位朋友和同事问过我带爸妈在加州玩的行程，我自己总结修改之后写了一
个小系列，贴出来希望大家有用。如果帖子里面有什么不正确的地方，欢迎指出并补充。

第一天． 从SD或者LA出发，沿着101首先会到达Santa Barbara，这里的主要景
点是downtown的state st以及海滩。我个人觉得可以逛逛那个Country Courthouse （
1100 Anacapa St, Santa Barbara CA 93101），挺漂亮的建筑，上到塔楼顶层能看到
整个Santa Barbara的景色。State st上有各式各样的小 |

1 Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis，号称是密洗洗逼河以西最大的天主教堂。整
个内装潢都是马赛克搞出来的。花费了几代人上百年的心血。
2 forest park，很大很大。里面有博物馆，动物园。都是免费的。这个真少见。
3 st louis botanic garden。可惜是冬天，什么都没有了。这个要花钱的。
市区：
1大拱门
2还有附近的一个old courthouse.里面讲这么一个故事。一个黑人，钻法律空子。大郅
说当时美国建国初，有些州是废除奴隶的。有些不是。结果那老黑跟他的住人跑废除奴
隶的州去呆了几年。回来等住人死了就开始唧唧歪歪说自己应该是自由人了。结果没想
到他住人的太太是白人上流社会的。官司打到华盛顿，结果白人的女方家里是boston的
上流人物，类似肯尼迪家族那种。结果还是打输了。最后一直扯皮，搞出了南北战争。
3过河去east st louis，犯罪之都。这是全美排top3，几十年都没drop out的。但是可
以看脱衣舞，全脱的那种。

国产妇李杜在成为检方污点证人以后，在每一次与梁志毅的电话及见面过程中被全程录
音或录像。这些录音和录像真实还原了今年五月份二人沟通过程，其中某些偷拍片段犹
如观看谍战大片。
根据录像显示，梁志毅在被警方逮捕的前5天左右，与李杜进行了一次关键性会面。在
这次会面中，梁志毅建议李杜支付6000美元现金，而不要用银行卡或支票形式，以免被

草田，不过不是很大。如果是熏衣草开花的季节路过那的话可以看看。丹麦城不是很大
，停留的时间不会太长，如果对这个小镇兴趣不大的话可以跳过，把时间安排在Santa
Barbara那边。

月初付清贷款收到贷款银行一封信说“We will forward the satisfaction/release
of mortage to the courthouse for proper removal of lien. If requested at the
time of payoff, we will forward to the Title Company or Attorney to handle
the release process. ”。
然后陆续收到贷款银行寄来的（cancelled original documentation of ）“Deed of
Trust”，以及县Assesor-County Clerk-Recorder转寄并显示已经纪录（Recorded in
Official Records）的“Substitution of Trustee”和“Full Reconveyance”，还有
多收的61 cents支票一张。

近受到从 palo alto courthouse 的信．给了三个选择：直接交钱（＄２３８），上
法庭，上驾校（＄２９０＋学费）．第一次碰到开车罚单，请大家指点几个问题：
－ 如果直接交钱， 保险会涨多少，涨多久？用ＧＥＩＣＯ有四年了，现在全保～＄
６０／月
－ 如果上驾校，除了＄２９０罚款，驾效另外要交多少钱？要脱产上课吗？保险还涨
不涨?
－ 老婆很快就不再开车上班．我打算把她名字从保险上去掉．这样一来车保险是不是
就不受这次影响？ ＴＩＣＫＥＴ是跟人还是跟车？
－ 我们这种情况，是选交钱还是上驾校？

租房、买房、搬家、窦娥两年前交的3000 大洋押金被房东克扣了1100块，其中包括410
块的清洁，270块的地毯清洁，和405块的更换百叶窗和煤气灶的钱。面对洋洋洒洒三
张大单据，一一电话相应公司，一律支支吾吾，表示不能找到当时提供服务的人，顿觉
六月飞雪，写给房东一封长信，声情并茂据理力争要求退回部分费用，却遭到了房东的
严正拒绝，反倒怪起了窦娥无理取闹。窦娥决定采取法律程序，网上查找相关资料，得
知由于索赔数目过小，只能采用小额法庭。小额法庭提供免费法律咨询，网上填表申请
即可。一个月后，咨询人告之，在采取上法庭之前，其实可以采取调停的方法；又一个
月以后，窦娥、房东 、和两位志愿者调停员 （R & D)，预定了山景城图书馆里的一个
静谧的会议室，调停。
会议室预留的时间是下午一点到四点。
12:50 pm，刚刚Zumba 完一个小时的窦娥换好衣服，冲出图书馆厕所，正打算问管理员
去哪个会议室，迎面却看到了一个陌生却又似乎有些熟悉的脸庞。生娃傻六年的窦娥一
