买几桶distilled water，任何supermarket都用。
车凉时打开radiator cap, 和radiator低下一个塑料
drain valve放出来coolant。这时engine block里
还有很多没有出来。radiator下面valve关上加清水，
发动车，空调调到最热风，空档踩踩油门让发动机热起来，
知道看到radiator里液体流动，颜色变成coolant颜色。
关车，再打开drain valve放出来。如此数次知道颜色
很浅。
按手册coolant capacity加一半antifreeze，发动车
热后加水到满。 |

option 2. buy coolant and mix with water per instruction on the bottle. if
you are picky, you should get the distilled water from any grocery
supermarket.
the risk of option 1&2 is that if you have a leakage somewhere, it is likely
you are going to lose it again. one failure I personally know of is that
Taurus tends to develope crack on the coolant reservoir itself.

Genuine Nissan Long life Antifreeze/Coolant(Green)or equivalent with the
proper mixture ratio of 50% antifreeze and 50% demineralized or distilled
water.
手里有瓶WALMART那种50%-50% ready-to-use的绿色Coolant，不知coolant这种东西不
同牌子可以混用么？（看起来成分倒是一样）还是等oil change时让dealer给加上？

会有一小滩液体，感觉像是机油。
今天我打开了引擎盖，看了那个机油标尺，油的高度在上面一个小洞下一点点，感觉没
有漏很多。
同时看了冷却液的箱子，发现冷却液的液面远低于那个最低的标线下，冷却液的箱子都
快空了。由于身边没有冷却液，就拿实验室里的distilled water把箱子灌满了。
这个冷却液，我2个月前开一次长途前才加满的，以前开1年都几乎不用加冷却液的，没
想到这次漏的这么快。
请问这会是什么问题，需要去车铺修吗？如果去车铺休息，大概花费要多少？ |

If so it's a fantanstic deal for the price.
If it's just engine oil change(incl. oil filter) plus coolant change, it's
so so price.
The regular pure coolant costs about $10 a gallon. The distill water is
about $1 for a gallon. |

1. coolant reservoir tank那么大的罐子，仔细看一下，MAX居然在罐子接近低端的位
置？我以为这个罐子要加满，看来我不需要加很多。特地到nissan dealer买这个，结
果人家说普通的antifreeze就行，没有什么指定的品类。
2. walmart的distilled water刚好卖完，家里的水可以替代吗？
3. radiator cap需要加蒸馏水到什么位置，整个体积就很小，不知道加到什么位置算
合适。

just a little bit low, add distilled water. If level is too low, go to a
shop and ask for help.
If only the overflow tank is low, no big deal. Unless you drive some weird
car like VW Beetle where there is no radiator cap, only the overflow tank.
In that case, sell your VW and get a real car. |

just add or most of it , all you need is a tube and a air bulb ( you can try
to suck it yourself but it is recommanded cause the colant is toxic )
added distilled water ( grocery stores usually has it ) and you should be

可能堵漏，也可能不行，另外如果弄坏你整个coolant system，你可别找我，自己负责
google.
如果运气好，暂时堵住了，或者漏得极慢了，可以去carfax卖，去dealer trade in买
新车，或者自己卖，别卖给同胞就好了。
另外这种情况，如果暂时非常需要车，也能开，去walmart买大桶蒸馏水（distilled
water)，开之前倒入coolant reservoir,开车的时候要多看看水温表，如果上升太快，
先停路边，我以前的破车按这种方法开了3个月，最后trade-in给dealer了。 |

便混,如果是gold的话最好去dealer搞一桶.挺便宜的你买concentrate一桶也就20多刀,
再去随便找个地方买一桶distilled water 1刀多,mix好就行了,这样相当于你花20多刀
买2桶. |

这个月连续两次低温，我车的电池也出现了DIE现象，一般是在公司的停车场从早上放
到下午6点，当外面气温在0华氏或以下时，就打不着了。到昨天为止，两次了。而且一
般前面一天启动也会有一点困难，启动后发现里程计恢复到了显示总里程数，而不是我
以前的A或B，用来计TRIP里程的。这个挺奇怪的。另外，我上班只开25分钟左右，感觉
是不是没有足够时间给已经快漏完电的电池充电，所以第二天就更差，打不着了。
今天看了下车的原装电池，是PANASONIC的。发现上面还真画了个图表：一个是蓝圈，
表示OK；一个红圈，表示‘DISTILLED WATER’；还有一个白圈，表示CHARGE NEEDED.
在这个图表旁边是一个上面有个透明圆盘的孔。现在看到里面下边还真是红色。感觉这
个透明玻璃是可以拧下来的，上面有一条槽，用个硬币应该能拧。
本来准备明天去SAMSCLUB换个DURACELL的电池了，看了现在这个电池，觉得是不是加点
蒸馏水就行了？最后说一下是05年的CRV，电池也快9年了，这个车今年也快准备要换新

是air trapped in the cooling system. need to bleed. One generic way is to
remove the radiator cap and let the car idle until the cooling fan kicks in.
The coolant will gush out and air will escape. Then turn off the engine and
fill the coolant to the top.你不bleed，开几个cycle，air也会慢慢跑出去。
现在的coolant的base其实大多都是ethylene glycol base。加了不同的dye和
proprietary corrosion inhibitor。德车的european coolant就是要避免phosphate，
