c****1 发帖数: 457 | 6 just my 2 cents
display。
audience distracted。

Yeah, I only played 2/5 for a couple month. I am used to play Ceasor for NL

But Ceasors now are full of regulars, some old man sitting there for 5-6
hours waiting for AAs, KKs. The game become very boring. So I tried 2/5
table for short stack buy-in. I continue play 2/5 because I found out some
of the guys playing 2/5 table is no better than 1/2 players.
But you are right, the problem is my bankroll. I only play poker for fun so

L****n 发帖数: 490 | 21 just my two cents. You don't really want to be in multi-way pot, since a lot
of time, you don't have enough implied odds. The advantage of short stack
is to take dead money by squeeze loose pre-flop raiser. Short stack need to
be aggressive pre-flop, most of your money should go in preflop and get to
heads-up. Your staring hand should be mostly high cards, AJ, AQ, AK, 99+.
Maybe even 77, 88, A10 in late position.
Also you need to constantly rebuy. If below certain level, you can't even squeeze. |

I just got to $900+ as well, but with double your hands. |
|
f*f 发帖数: 121 | 23 nice results guys.
bigslick, You can play pretty much all stack size profitably at 2/5. You
just need to know how to play your stack correctly. In fact, I think 20bb
stack might work very well at those tables, but the way you were playing it,
it was way too passive. The main advantage of being a short stack is that
you can push allin preflop with decent hands and take down the pot preflop
or get it HU allin with someone where a lot of dead money is on the table so
you don't need to win nearl...

15860 | 24 agree.
if we watch enough russian/german, sometimes even chinese, short stackers
play online, they all follow a very simple fold/push pre-flop strategy. they
normally buy in for 40BB, and if they're in a hand, all money will go in no
later than the flop. their pushing range is just like lundon said, 88+ or
AT+.
but there's one problem using this strategy in live, VOLUME. online short
stackers normally play 10+ tables and they can show a profit much easier
with their robotic play, plus rakeback, ...

121 | 27 Poker has no memory, you lost 80bb should have no effect to your decision at
this time. Also, the goal really shouldn't be trying to get that 80bb back
, it should be try to play your next hand as well as you possibly could.
since you started the table with 100bb, I would assume that you believed
that was the best stack size for you to start, unless something on the table
changed your opinion, you should probably reload back to 100bb and try to
continue to play every hand well.

More often than it should. I bought in 100BB at 1/2 live game long time ago

don't let losing one buy-in bother me at all, not even two buy-ins.
Actually, in live game, I don't lose more than 2 buy-ins more than few times
