variations as all tests do. However, I do feel the same
as you about the vocabulary of bilingual kids.
For my son (2nd grader too), since we don't speak
English at home, he does have limitations comparing to
his fellow classmates. I am trying to ask him to use
dictionary when he came across some unknown words. We
asked him to get about 5 new words for every new book.

结论。
作为一个从五个月大就上daycare的娃娃，胖小生活的一个重要部分就是做“project”
。从一开始一张纸上随便画两条道道贴两张sticker，到后来剪纸画水彩染围裙，差不
多天天有点东西带回家。
其实想一想不难理解：做手工这事，对老师来说是让小淘气们打发时间的好办法，对小
朋友来说拿着产品回家是件风光的事，对当爹妈的来说反正没什么坏处 ------ 好象还
没听说哪个做父母的反对孩子做手工。
在家的时候，没什么特殊材料，胖小最常用的材料就是纸。爸爸看过不要的论文，妈妈
网上打印的地图，一概扔进一个小纸箱，胖小和丫丫从中自由取用。
用纸能做什么？老妈的初衷是让小朋友们拿来画画。
胖小画画，如果没人指定题目，大约有一半时间画的是dragon。一对翅膀，一口尖牙，
嘴里喷一口火。
一次胖小画了只老虎，一身橙色条纹，低腰，伸爪，看起来有些意思。
老妈很高兴：“胖小，你画的是什么？”
“老虎吃羚羊。”

But parents have to be in the room before she falls asleep. Of course she

The meat is where you need to pay attention to. For a third grader, being
chatty is a concern. For boys, writing is a common concern.
