时坛现在差不多每天能有一半的帖子是写来支持川普的，有些甚至可以说已经是完全失
去理智的帖子了，可以说这里就是川普和共和党的主场。我虽然不是民主党人更不支持
希拉里，但还是要为民主党说两句公平话。
在美国，共和党是保守党，民主党是进步党，所谓的progressive party。而民主党也
确实不负此名，在美国历史上的很多重大进步都是民主党由主导的。
我们现在每天工作八小时、每星期四十小时、加班有一倍半的加班费。第一个八小时工
作制和多付加班费的联邦法案是民主党人William C. Adamson 起草的Adamson Act，不

野心勃勃而又不择手段，知法犯法，让人对她望而却步。而且民主党的理念逐渐脱离现
实，为了选票，不计后果地乱施福利，掏空了美国财政。
首先让华人不爽就是民主党主张的自由过了头。先不说民主党鼓励同性恋、大麻合法
化等，近来更是无理允许性别倒错的男女学生同厕，奥巴马政府还鼓励、行政命令要求
这一主张。这个行政命令不可避免地遭到很多亚裔，尤其是华人家长等的强烈反对。为
了保护子女不受性侵和骚扰，亚裔更应该团结一致抵制此一主张。可以想见让那些没有
做变性手术、保留男性器官的男性自由进入女厕会发生什么。希拉里的施政纲领基本上
是沿袭奥巴马的既定政策，她当选后男女同厕问题上也不会有太大的改变。更为可怕的
是民主党可能会通过立法推行这一主张。美国最高法院大法官、保守派重要人物安东宁
?斯卡利亚在2月份去世。填补大法官的空缺成了两党争夺的焦点，但总统有提名权。如
果希拉里上台，将会提名自由派人士，一旦成功，最高法院的自由派法官占多数，这项
政策很可能成为全国性法律，整个美国社会将失去原有的正常秩序。

击我，不知道能不能顺利出庭。本来出庭的日期是6月21日8点30分。突然有人就告诉我
时间，地点都变了。当然，这些人主要的目的就是误导我，不让我顺利出庭，而且从明

1。想请教各位TX，前bumper会不会粘很多虫子？？看到不少美国人前面会装一块布一
样的东西貌似，如果不装 是否有其他什么保护方法啊？是否需要每个几个小时 就擦一
下前bumper？

can range from 0 to even higher than "highway MPG" depending on what the
local traffic is.
For example, if you are stuck in traffic for a whole day with your AC on,
you can probably burn the whole tank of gas and move only a few miles. If
it's a nice local country-road with no traffic and no traffic lights, you

even get higher MPG than on highway.

高速路的意思是全封闭路，无交叉路口，无红绿灯（都指的主路）
根据路况不同，ramp有可能有stop sign或者红绿灯。
限速55的highway多了去了，但大部分highway都不是全封闭，所以就是一般公路而已
开过限速70的highway，照样不是全封闭的（有交叉路口） |

1. Did not yield. LZ already admitted.
2. Stop on the highway. This is very dangerous. There are accidents because
of this. A van with a chinese family in it stopped in the lane on the
highway. Many cars could steered away until a X5 struck on, killing two
children in the 3rd. Other cars are all driving ~70 miles per hours and are
expecting all do the same on highway. It is hard to steer away especially
when people are tried and are not so alert.

Subaru Legacy开了一周了，几点感想：
1.估计德州subaru少的缘故，周围的美国同事回头率高，parking lot认识不认识的都
说我买了Subaru Legacy真的是好车,有开过subaru经历的同事更是眉飞色舞的给我说
subaru的好处
2.高速噪音极低，加上音响系统不错，非常enjoy
3.加速没有普通transmission的那么强劲，但是加减速非常平滑，完全感觉不到车子速
度换挡的感觉。
4.省油。 刚开了两天local，显示已经到了28.8MPG,如果再高速磨合一段时间，估计到
31以上问题不大 （sticker显示说最高可以到37MPG）
5.Subaru车做的精细，很多人性化的设计。

so fill up. Do not speed, and take reasonable breaks.
The Interstate has a lot of rest stops. The road back to LV may be busy in
the evening.

就猥琐地追求省油。
是非常不给力。我以为就是这么设计的，油门深，免得你们踩狠了费油。所以才能搞出
低油耗来。
我的local也只有17左右。磨合期间highway 25，冬天，定速70～65.现在天热了，
highway 26，开空调定速。开了eco，就能有28定速，如果猥琐地省油开，就能满载5人
加几十斤米和菜，mpg30.我高速基本都是满载，没有空车。
开了eco mode,local 会1.2千转拖档，highway爬坡也拖档上去尽量不降档。
车子现在4400迈，没有任何问题。

发帖数: 3453 | 35 今早上学，要开一段highway，大概2mile，限速60的，然后highway自然结束变成local
限速35. 上highway的时候，看到后边有辆Ford VC，有前边护栏，但是没警灯，也没多
想，上来就加速到65，看他没反应，就以为是辆出租车。开到了local，限速35，我一
度开到47，当时也没在意什么，只是在等红灯的时候，那辆车超过我了，发现是State
Trooper的，当时一身冷汗就出来了。
去年，室友曾经也在限速35的地方开47，被警察抓住，足足罚了七十多美金！！！！今
天幸好那个警察手下开恩，我逃过一劫！！
BTW，State Trooper到了local的道路上，还有没有执法权啊？有懂行的同学指导一下

这种途径买车版上有提过，但自己一直没机会试试，这次适逢要换车，就吃吃螃蟹吧。
我目标是3k刀以下00-02年美国车，midsize以上sedan。
车是GSA的auction处拍的，提前几天就从提供的列表中相中了几辆，都是00-02左右的
crown victoria，impala，金牛，无非不是警车就是fleet的，里程数都很低，全部不
到10w，有些问题多些（CEL on的都有），有些则只有一点scratch。由于我预算是小于
3k（别BS我），眼看着几辆CV都破3k了很郁闷，不过鉴于我这里有接近半年下雪，CV后
驱本来也不很喜欢，最后拍到2000的impala，不到8w里程，26xx成交（感觉只能算小
deal），之后就提车，转title，没什么特别，只是DMV貌似很少碰到这种情况，业务不
熟。

highway, particularly when you don't need to change lane much, are actually
easier to drive than local.
If the learner can find some local road with light traffic and high speed
limit, practice driving at ~60mph there to get used with higher speed before
getting onto highway would be very helpful. |

昨天开的还好好的，今天踢球之前，发现打不着火，但是车灯和radio都工作，然后踢
球回来，让邻居帮忙jump起来了，一切工作正常，但是电池灯仍然亮着，仪表板提示
service battery charging system，开车出去转了一圈，本来想去autozone读个码，
但是一直在下雨，就回家了，停车之后，发动了一下，还能发动起来。然后就把长期连
在车上开着的video record给拔了！
请教各位大侠，下一步应该怎么办，开到修车厂去，还是去autozone之类的看看啊！
另一点要补充，2周之前刚刚搬了家，现在很少开highway了，本来每天都要开单程
2mile的highway，是不是那个时候就有问题，只是因为天天开highway充电比较足没显
露出来啊！
我的车是07的chevy impala，买的时候2010年初，可能原来并没有换过电池，所以电池
可能用了5年左右。 |

但这只是标准模式，是以牺牲操控和油门反应为代价的。
想要操控好，得打开Sport模式，开了之后，Local就是24,25，Highway就是31，32了。
油耗上只能说非常马马虎虎。
Accord 3200lbs的车重，烧regular的油，Local 26, Highway 37，明显省油省多了。 |

US-1 或者1800 Route 27之类的，就只能输入highway的名字，无法输入house number
。我找了dealer，他们还挺nice，帮我免费升级到了最新的版本，但问题依旧。最后跟
我说这个问题所有的bmw navigation都有，是navigation system制造商的问题,让我直
接联系制造商report问题，以后就可能得到改进了。
就想问问这是真的么？你们的车载gps也找不到highway address么？ |

ford除了focus有个electric
cmax，fusion hybrid之类的怎么都看不到
还有很多sel型号，油耗肯定比base高，为什么sel上榜，base的不见影子
tdi大亮，挤在一堆hybrid里面
还有这个怎么算的
sienna local 13，highway 25 overall算19
oddyssey local 12， highway 31，竟然也是19，还排在后面
合着开sienna，local和highway比是5：5
