最后一种可以忽略，因为绝大多数都跟local没啥区别，前三种都有可能是全封闭的高
速。自然一条路就可能有多个名字，蓝底的都指interstate，白底那个盾牌形的是us
highway，椭圆形的是state highway |

highway上下来，刚准备merge到另一个highway上，发现前面有辆警车，没亮灯，几乎
停在我车的正前面。我犹豫了一下，打左灯，继续merge到左边，警车突然换到右边道
，开了警灯。那是上另一条路的，跟我当时在的lane之间是实线隔开的。我想它都换道
了，应该不关我的事吧，于是继续merge。就在我准备经过警车（也可能已经经过了）
的时候，它的警铃响了，但那时我已经在另外一个highway的路上了，后面跟了一票的
车，也没地方停，再想想我好像没犯什么错啊，于是继续前进了。警铃还在响，但是警
车没有跟过来。
然后我一路忐忑地开到单位，心里那个堵啊...求各位大侠指教，那警车亮灯可能关我
的事么？我仔细想想，换高速的那十几分钟我一直都是跟着车流，绝对没违规，如果一
定要说有什么做得不好的地方，那就是在我要merge到左边上另外一条highway的时候，

来美的四年多，去了26个国家公园。本来不会贴图，打算放弃参加这次活动了，但是
Gforce的帖子又激起了我那份对national park的热情。所以我也想来分享一下这些年
看到的美丽的自然风光。另外，对于hiking trail比较多的NP，我也会放一些自己推荐
的Trail，希望能对大家有所帮助。
先来一张NPS地图，图中标出了所有58个NP，其中蓝色钉的是去过的26了，红色钉的是
剩下的32个，也就是近两年的目标啦。

最后一天就是Bahamas的Freeport了。事先听说Freeport很无聊，大部分人就
shopping去了，很多人都不下船，所以订了一个trip advisor上评价很高的tour：
Chads4nature，是east blue hole tour，早上9点到下午4点，包午餐，有龙虾可以选
，活动有kayak和snorkel。还从来没有浮潜过，所以非常期待。早早的吃完饭就等8点
下船了，结果只有不到10个人在那里排队，下来的时候太早了，港口连个人毛都没有。
出港口转了一圈，只有零零星星几个小摊子卖东西。这个港口连海关都没有。Freeport
的人明显没有Nassau aggressive，沿途都没有人向我们推销什么。
快8点半又转回下船的地方，这时候有不少tour的导游来接人了。我们的导游
是个年轻小黑，很健谈，这一组除了我们就是一对美国大叔大妈。导游先带我们坐了
taxi到一个停车场，然后是收钱，开自己的车带我们转。港口是不准车随便进的，所以

我车是01 accord, 4 cylinder, manual, 120k mileage, 开半年了,稳定在14~16MPG.
是不是太烂了啊?
另外关于manual, 感觉如果3.5k升挡比3k升挡可以提升1~2个MPG左右(感觉如果太早升
挡,譬如2.5k, 或者2档起步, 就算floor也没回馈, 也很伤MPG). 没有试验过4k升挡,
转速一过4k发动机就很大声,感觉还有点颤.

房租和日常开
销的压力太大，不敢轻举妄动。今年上半年辞了工退了房之后回国小住了几个月，本想
着秋季要去东
非。回美国后才发现功课来不及做，许多东西必须很早预定，于是就犯个懒去近些的地

的点数到今年底就过期了, 3万点有些鸡肋，跑次国际比如飞去上海是肯定不够的，用
点数定杂志又
太浪费，最后看了看美国国内航班，最远的就alaska了，而且才2万5就可以了，虽然知
道已经错过
了6，7月份最好的季节，但我也不能这么挑了，否则又是要等上一年，安慰自己说，淡
季也有淡季的
好，不用到了哪里都是黑压压的人群是把。
机票是8/31到9/10的，去的时候2架飞机，回来要转3次，哎，谁让我是用点数换的机票

高速公路的意思。这明明就是说highway就是正经的公路，基本上所有
编号的联邦州县市的公路以及市内街道都符合highway的定义，都算
highway，和highway对应的词是byway，就是没什么人走的小道。
城市里叫highway的街道很多，很多城市都有，你没见过说明你不太注意
或者去过的地方太少。 |

部分地方限速是state speed limit-55mph。我刚刚搬家，路不熟。我是从一条支路右
转进入这条state highway，然后在100多米的长的上坡开始加速，到达坡顶后下坡并且
是个小弯，看见前面一辆警车在抓别的车的同时，我被另外一辆藏着的警车pull over
啦。当时很惊讶，因为认为自己在限速55mph的地方开60mph左右应该没有问题，而且还
是下坡。
已经plea of not guilty，正在写材料要求dismissal或者reduction。主要的理由是我
在进入这条state highway之后到被警察pull over的这大概不到300米的距离内，没有
看见任何40mph的标志。我进入这条路后看见的第一个限速标志就是在我被pull over的
地方之后50米处，上面写的是55 mph。(事后观察，我是从一个红绿灯十字路口进入这
条state highway的，确实没发现任何限速标志，它的限速标志是在这条state highway

A section of California Highway 2 between La Cañada Flintridge and
Angeles Forest Highway will reopen Friday, according to California
Department of Transportation spokesman Patrick Chandler.
Angeles Crest Highway has been closed since Jan. 17, 2010, when heavy rain
fell in the Station fire burn area and washed away three major sections of
pavement through the Angeles National Forest.

我用脚趾头找到的----DIRECTIONS TO SITE: From Bremerton, drive south on
Highway 3 through Belfair. After passing North Mason High School, turn left
onto Highway 302 heading east toward Purdy, Gig Harbor and Tacoma. Drive
about 2.6 miles to powerlines crossing North Bay. Look for the signed
parking area on the west side of the highway just north of the power lines.
