Then you can wait for them to be 6' to give them another mow.
Mow tall and light is good for grass, but it could keep more bugs and worms
than you'd like. So, don't forget to spray some insect killer around your
house perimeter. |

insects control.
You can fill the mixture into straw and cut straw into small sections so it
would last long without mess around.

What kind of animal would dig up a lawn?
This morning I found a huge patch of my lawn in my front yard all dug up.
Not huge holes, but a lot of small ones about an inch deep and a inch wide.
There was about 80 of them all in about a 3 foot circle.. I don't know if it
was some jerk kid, or an animal. I wouldn't think some kid would spend that
much time doing that, so it leads me to believe it was some kind of animal.
. Any ideas?

发帖数: 21638 | 15 我也不是高手，我们家的长的不咋地，主要是去年太旱干死了些，结果干死的地方长了
苔藓，另外杂草丛生。正在弄，所以下面不对的地方，请批评指出。
从开春开始说
1.开春的时候施肥，如果不打算补草种，就用feed+crabgrass,这个在早春万物将要复
苏的时候用
2.dethatch，经过一个冬天，干草叶子啥的都盖住了地面，导致草根呼吸不畅，那么就
要去掉这些东西，这个可以用钉耙，也可以用机器。
3.weed control ，这个是除阔叶草的。一般也是weed+feed。现在这个时候差不多该上
这种肥了。
4.Insect Control，我一般是开春和盛夏各用一次。
5.就是日常的维护了，剪草+浇水。如果希望草长的非常漂亮，就可劲花钱浇吧。我们
这儿雨水一般还行，所以夏天基本不浇。结果去年大旱，草，尤其是树下面的草干死了
不少。
6.到了秋天，根据情况补种，施肥，aeration。补种和aeration有条件就每年做一次，
这个好像可以去hd租工具。
差不多就这些了吧，欢迎补充。上面提到的肥料scott都有。 |

I was told the damage was limited to garage door, and the whole house was
treated and since then they have not found any termite activity.
For inspection, do I need any pest control specialist, or just a normal
inspector but include termite inspection? The inspector I have in mind is
also a registered wood destroying insects inspector with the New England
Pest Management Association.Is that enough?

请问大家买房如果遇到这些不是major issue，但是有明显问题的，都是怎么要求卖方
修理的呢？如果按agent说的法律上没有要求对方修，那对方修不修就看对方人品了，
买方一点办法也没有？谢谢大家帮忙出出主意！

不应该在地毯上，除非你家的已经泛滥成灾了。你的现象有点象跳蚤，仔细查一下有没
有跳蚤。
其实即使是bedbug，你也没必要扔掉床垫，浪费，而且没有效果。
可以用这个，睡前1小时喷一下，不是农药，无毒，但这只能缓解一下，不能根治。

刚来美国的时候，看到家家户户割得整整齐齐的绿油油的草坪，非常感叹这才是高品质
发达国家的生活。等到自己也有大草坪，才明白它是压在美国人民头上的一座大山。我
家的草坪大概六千多平方尺，每年为它花费了大量的金钱和时间。
浇水，一周三次，每次二十五分钟，碰到特别热的时候要隔天一次，不然草就发蔫，长
虫子。我算过，每月要花六十到八十的水费来浇水。
施肥和杀虫，我雇人做。他们一年要做六次Scott Turf Builder Pro，每次一百五左右
。春夏还有有两次Lawn Insect Control每次一百，秋天一次Fall Lawn Core Aeration
每次一百三，算下来每年一千五左右花在施肥和长虫。我也曾经试过自己做，结果发现
花费差不太多，但是买肥料、杀虫剂、除草剂、租工具的成本费也要一千左右，而且效

一般大家是不是没有limit啊？
