发帖数: 911 | 10 最近骑驴找马，感觉自己的面试技巧很需要提高，所以想要找小伙伴一起互相Mock
Interview
大概的设想是这样，成立一个小组，在组内找到跟自己背景相近的人。
A提供一个自己想要申请的职位的Job Description给B，B为A设计30-45分钟的面试题目
，约定面试时间（目前觉得电面比较可行，能on site固然好，但是比较难安排），面
试。
同样的，B也提供一个JD给A，A为B设计面试题目，约定时间，面试。
然后两人互相交流feedback.
一组面试过后，如果还想要继续面，就在小组中约定另一个人，这样可以获得不同角度
的feedback。
我觉得不管是被面试的过程，还是设计面试题目的过程，都能有所提高，而且后者的提
高可能更大。一组面试大概每人花费不到三个小时。
感觉一个题目会做，与能思路清晰地讲出来，是两种不同的概念。所以觉得这样的模拟
面试会有帮助。不知道有没有小伙伴支持。
如果人数不够成立小组，就想先找一两个感兴趣的小伙伴跟我互相mock一下先 :)

场来不了.(太可恶啦！我都为你不平！)所以虽然原则上是不进行电话面试的。但是考
虑你们的特殊情况，我们还可以尽力为这些未来现场的同学安排电话面试，但是已经来
现场面过的同学就不能参加了哦：因为interviewer都是利用自己的休息时间为大家辅
导，电话面试的面试时间很难coordinate,我们会争取尽快安排，所以请大家及早报名．

位做过chief resident的前辈外，都是现职的residents，没有人做过interviewer，这

非常理解大家希望尽早知道mock interview当天的行程安排、interviewer信息、
transportation等消息。因为涉及这么多人，申请各种不同的specialties,
interviewers都是义务帮忙，schedule难确定等等因素，到现在最后的interviewer

故。尤其最后几天，甚至可达上百封的email与各位前来的interviewee以及
interviewer和Alex等沟通，都是在紧张的floor service之余完成的。活动之后又给各
位interviewer写感谢信，给大家汇报总结。兄弟惭愧，没有帮上太多的忙，只是面试
当天帮助协调一下。这次活动也为下一次mock interview的积累了经验，打下了人脉基
础，一些interviewer表示明年还愿意来，并对你的出色工作给予了高度赞扬。
Emma也在自己的紧张学习，工作，申请，准备step3之余作了大量的协调工作，实在是
辛苦了！还有各位前来interview的同学们，远的有加州，德州，佛州，Georgia等，近
的有宾州，DC，匹兹堡，整个过程互相配合。虽然诸多变故，依然井然有序，表现出了
高度的素养。许多同学在这次活动中认识，交流，这也是一笔财富，是match过程中获

since he said that he has no power for selecting residents when he gave us
the welcome speech :D Very nice and smart guy.

今天的Mock Interview真是很成功，上百的resident candidates，每个人都保证
到了2位attending老师每人15分钟（甚至更长）的悉心指点。绝大多数人被排到了本专
业的attendings。所有人都有足够的水，茶，咖啡，午饭。等待面试的时候，
candidates围住KD等人咨询各种各样的问题，candidates彼此之间也三五成群交流经验
。整个会场热烈有序，所有的candidates都真正学到了东西。我参与其中，除了自身获益匪浅，更多的是感受到作为CMG的骄傲。
Attendings全部是志愿服务，KD和负责协调的住院医们也全部是志愿服务。他们很多人
从早上9点到下午结束时一直是在说话，从上百人中喊名字找人，根据每个人的要求尽
量协调。我仅仅是参与面试，回到家就已经觉得很累。很难想象组织者们为我们这些几
乎素不相识的人付出的辛苦。我没能帮上什么忙，但是我真是很想说一声谢谢！
感谢ACAP在纽约举办的2012 mock interview!感谢所有attending,KD和志愿服务的住院

去年面试前和她做过一次skype mock iv。感觉帮助蛮大的，除了解决一个一直困扰我
得问题外，更重要的是理解在interview的时候，program到底想了解你哪些东西，同时
自己如何发现和更有效的表现自己的长处。
我觉得咱们ＣＭＧ，尤其是那些没有太多面试经验的，找一个付费的机构做一次专门的
培训还是很有帮助的。去年我也去过ACAP的免费培训，感觉收获不是很大，来回两天时
间最后只有二十多分钟的谈话，也只是得到了一些general的意见。我没有否定他们的
意思，毕竟大家都是自愿人员，能花时间帮助大家我是非常非常感激的，但是来的人太
多，帮不过来啊。所以对这种自愿服务其实别报太大的希望。收费服务毕竟更加专业也
能化更多时间在申请人身上，至少事先都会了解每一个申请人的背景，能更好的帮助每
一个申请人发现自身的优缺点。
我感觉咱们ＣＭＧ有一点轻视了面试。俺自己的体会，成绩和背景决定能否拿到和拿到
多少iv，面试的表现决定能否match上。有了iv，成绩背景啥的已经不重要了，因为基
本上你已经被排名次了，而你想要改变自己的名次，只有在面试时候表现之前别人不知

发帖数: 276 | 50 这个星期参加了Dr.Wing的mock interview。我想说一下我的感受。
Dr.Wing大概先用了20-25分钟给我做了一个mock interview。里面的问题基本都是她之
前interview讲座里提过的那些会被很高频率问到的问题。然后她针对我的回答，个性
化的润色了我的答案。既回答了提问，同时又提供给interviwer我的strength。我觉得
非常赞！因为我之前的准备不是很充分，所以现在要按照dr.wing的建议好好包装一下
自己的这些材料。上课前觉得这个课小贵，上完后觉得这个课自己感觉很值。
