发帖数: 2295 | 2 话说我这个人永远是拖泥带水，胆小如鼠的。考CS也不例外。周三拿到成绩，拖拖拉拉的到今天才有时间汇报一下。和以往一样，总是有借口的，因为在赶一篇paper，好容易周五投出去了。意外的data gathering还拿到一个星号，自我感觉查体还是不错，但是问病史经常丢三落四的，开始试图记住FA上的问题，后来放弃了，改为按照系统问，看来还是奏效了。个人感觉没有必要劳心费神的背FA上的问题，太痛苦了。按照系统问就好了。
先唐一下我的感激之情，感谢家人的支持，和live/online partners的帮助。还有众多
网友的帮助，有无私邮寄书给我的，有帮助我扫描文件的，打来电话支持和鼓励的，发牢骚贴时安慰支持的，等等。非常非常的感激。

拉的到今天才有时间汇报一下。和以往一样，总是有借口的，因为在赶一篇paper，好

Here is my story:
1. After step1, practiced FA 2 times for 1month on skype with partners.
Never know how bad my English speed and just focus on questions and
timing.
2. Took Kaplan 5 day classes, and took the mock exam there. Shocked
after the results back, SEP low score. Don't know how to improve that
and realize the English is a problem. and Kaplan teacher say it will
take at least 2 months.

9月5号半夜偶刚满月的宝宝进了ER, 9月7号凌晨宝宝抢救，这里省去1000个字。。。幸好宝宝先天足，命大，虽然在ER一共住了5天，但完全恢复了。这一段让我对孩子家长的心情有了感同身受，以后就有资本说I’VE BEEN THERE, I’VE DONE THIS了。当然我一万个不愿意经受这趟EXPERIENCE，但既然已经发生了，只能安慰自己EVERYTHING HAS BOTH SIDES---GOOD AND BAD. 就是那一天宝宝脱离危险后，借着医院里超慢的网速查EMAIL, 拿到第一个IV, PEDS, 冥冥之中注定了这就是我要去的地方。当时托一位AMG RESIDENT（她们得知都非常兴奋的恭喜我）帮我照看一下宝宝，我到医院外面的草坪上给PC打了电话。那天回家洗澡时在家里收到第二个IV, 也是PEDS. 那时幸亏我妈在这里帮忙，不然LD要上班，我24小时在医院，至少LD把儿子从DAYCARE接回来有现成饭吃。

去年5月来到NＹ参加了这个会议, 收获巨大, 虽然时隔近一年, 至今记忆犹新. 把我个
人参加去年会议的感受给即将第一次参加这个会议的同学一个小参考:
1. 得到非常多有用和实用的覆盖Match之路各阶段的信息, 能现场得到很多问题的答案
，准备好问题. 最好带上一个小本子和笔, 好做笔记.
2. 能有幸见到著名的前辈, 并有可能在会上会下得到向他们当面提问的机会. 我去年
参加会议时有幸见到了老刀, 二饼医生, Langjing, 哲别, KD, Teabao等等著名前辈,
把我关于申请的疑虑和申请策略的等等问题都得到了这些前辈们的现场指导，并直接应
用到了后来的申请与面试过程之中．
3. 感受会议现场的震撼气氛, 见到很多的同行者. 觉得这Match之路不是一个人的孤独
奋战, 而是很多人一起携手并行, 并由此大家从会议之后建立联系, 分享信息, 互通有
无, 直到现在.
4. 有机会与Dr. Eng进行Mock Interview. 据说能被Dr. Eng Mock Interview的都能

经验或教训，只能说是个人心得，因为面试真的是一门大学问，太深了，我不敢在这妄
自菲薄。而且写的罗嗦，加上最近独眼龙，所以断断续续写的，
我从六月份就开始准备面试。把去年的面试答案翻了出来，准备参加10月份的lanjing
办的面试班。刚好有个非常好的美国朋友刚进行完医学院面试，帮我把了把关，觉得不
像是我的答案，建议再emotional点。我去年练面试的时候觉得需要professional把
emotional的都去掉了。只好回来重新组织。后来两个月写ps, 想了很多自己的故事，
准备加到PS里。后来请这个美国朋友和一个chief修改了修改，估计我写得太差，他们
两后来基本是给我重写了一遍。虽然这些故事没有完全用在ps里，可是用到了面试中，
这是后话。
关于问题的准备，我就不多说了。100多个问题实际也就是6个常见问题的扩展，

一般IV一天下来重头戏就是其中滴3到4个30分钟滴IV session。ACAP Mock IV 一天下
来每个童鞋不光完成了一个IV，更得到了即时反馈，相当于面试当天拿到match结果，
收获绝对是灰常滴大
偶上周IV耽误了三天时间，所以周六去lab加班，之后周六晚overnight flight从西部
飞过去，Mock IV后再overnight flight 飞回来，5点半到家，7点爬起来回lab开始新
滴一周。的确很累，但绝对超值。希望将来有机会回报ACAP |

标 题: 为什么推荐信先讲临床轮转

有些人不明白为什么我的workshop标题是怎样拿到好的推荐信，可是我讲的课题是临床
轮转和case presentation. To clarify, 拿到好的推荐信不是那么容易的。如果
clinical rotation做得不怎么样，你的推荐信也是就会不怎么样。对于临床医生来讲
，选住院医生，我们看的是临床技能，哪怕你有10篇第一作者的nature/science文章，
对住院医生的选择是没有多大帮助的。所以推荐信一定要有临床医生来写，而且这个临
床医生可以evaluate你的临床技能，这样的推荐信才有用。有些人做科研，跟老板关系
好，老板可能会写很strong的信。可是如果你没有跟老板在临床转过，就算老板是医生

发帖数: 1159 | 15 个人所见，举个例子，step1大家都用FA，Uworld，NBME效果灰常好，只要方法得当，
就能考高分。但是到了step2，高效滴复习资料实在是找不到。
如今match越来越难，所以IV技巧越来越重要。
对CMG来说，mock interview滴资源有ACAP，澜静医生，还有Dr. Wing。我只用过ACAP
和Dr.Wing 的mock IV. 个人认为，单从技术角度讲，Dr.Wing滴mock interview 对
CMG来讲是目前最好的资源，虽然收费，但是偶觉得值，当得上战术杀器lol 当然，从
战略角度讲ACAP是一定要去滴。澜静医生我schedule原因没有来得及去,据说效果也灰
常好。
Dr.Wing IV滴另一个好处是可以自己选时间，在家里就搞定，从经济角度讲，至少对偶
来讲，不比ACAP贵。因为偶得从西海岸飞到东海岸，机票加时间，成本还是蛮高滴(当
然绝对物有所值啦，单看那5个prematch就不能不去:)
结论：支持,Dr. Wing。 给CMG提供了一剂提升IV技巧滴良药。

代价很大，我还是怀着卑微的心情祈求上天的怜悯，让我侥幸逃过一劫。
以下就是我考试复习和考试当天的经历，由于已经过了几个月，回忆有些偏差；另外，
熟悉我的朋友就不要点我的名了.
首先先简单介绍一下我考前背景：毕业多年，没有任何临床工作经验，考cs之前已经考
了ck，英语口语不好，而且自己对此超级没自信。复习时间很长，前期准备有３－４个
月，主要是当病人为主，后面就是全职复习，复习重点看的书是FA ，大case和Skype
partner / 真人 都反复练过，minicase 是自己看的。UW 也练过，但是和人练的case
不多，主要是自己练的，就是把主诉看了，然后自己把问题问了，然后再对比漏了那些
问题，看自己的诊断和它的诊断一样与否。上了Kaplan 5 天班，最近的一次的考前 模
考是在考前９天（Kaplan one day mock exam）, 网上口碑好的tutor都练过，真人的
tutor也有一个长期跟着。反正感觉就是应试这部分能做的都做了。但是考前最后一个

参加过以前ACAP mock interview 的同学，大致都知道，以前几十刀确实是义务的，什
么原因导致如此大的收费增加呢？目测300刀，澜静办的小班全天授课也不过如此，而
且既往的经验表明，至少以前的ACAP mock interview，只是开胃小菜最多20分钟面试
，如果ACAP mock interview和既往类似，Pathodream您负责ACAP与麦地考生联系， 您
能解释解释为什么要加几倍收费呢？有明细账吗？你跟来帮忙的中国医生或其他ACAP
member讨论过收费尺度吗？别根我们说您请的那些主治一小时好几百刀，你一小时大概
挣不了900刀吧，要是您还是20分钟一位？别跟我们煽情，更别跟我们穷学生说你"got
nothing, I drove 200 miles only got free lunchboxes"， 这个世界上有人为钱，

有益于各位同学。
1. 要面试
Northwest典型的医疗教育贫困。我所居住的华盛顿州只有Uni. Of Washington在西雅
图一支独秀。我工作十多年的学校，是全省第二，刚刚非常努力地才争取到开医学院。
医学院的缺乏在WWAMI地区是个大问题。 （WWAMI=Washington State, Wyoming,
Alaska, Montana and Idaho）。住院医项目缺乏更是个问题。内科住院医项目西雅图
有两个，UW的学生争的挤破头，Spokane有一个，离我家里两个小时车程，跑去两趟，
有些收获，但就是不给面试。这个经历挺长，要另外开贴再细聊。
剩下来周边的，就只有Boise IM了。 离家五个小时，开车能到的，都不能说远。而且
，竟然在住院医花名册里看到一位中国毕业生的名字。这在西北地区如此保守的情况下
，非常罕见。真正让我看到一线希望。另外，这里不会向纽约那里的项目，被申请者踩
破门槛。于是，交完申请后，九月十九号跑过去看看。

does not won't to have any problem when doing transfer. For some people it's
very easy, for some it's difficult because the position and the shape of
the cervix. How long it took for your mock transfer? Idealy it should be
finish in minutes. A little blood is normal, if the dr. could not put the
catheter into you uterus easily. It won't affect real transfer and
