The easiest is to just hire someone to mow it for you.
If you would like to mow it yourself, get a zero turn mower, Toro makes good
one and cheaper than the JD brand.
If you no longer want a yard, you can landscape it, I have known people
plant a lot of trees, sunflower, corn, etc. (depending on your climate)
If you don't even want to landscape it, you can always have a 1.4 acre pond,
put some good eating fish in it, you can have fish year round. If you put

Weed can easily take over. So what good is your

5 to 10 acre close to your house on regular basis, the rest can be mowed
once in the fall with a rough cut mower or brush hog. |

正好HOMEDEPOT号称买一送一，说买一个36V mower送一个18V trimmer
结果我兴冲冲充好电，摆好pose准备mow，，，完全点不着啊
只好去退掉，再换一个，反正我那草地都长成长头发了
Update：
换了一个以后，新到的还是很管用，前前后后1/4-1/3 acre的地，mow完了还有电
不过那个18V的免费的不咋好使，完全靠手拎着敲边，有点儿累~

handle.分成几天隔。把周期拉长，例如这周末mow front yard,然后慢慢再隔后院。主
要是前院，怕hoa提意见。隔得比较勤快。前院1－2周，后院拉长到2－3周。偶尔如果
家里有重要party或忙不过来会叫人来隔。
老公割草的时候我照顾2娃，基本她们俩自己玩，我拔拔草，施施肥。8点多准时收工给
娃们洗澡.
割草机也没那么重。我和我妈妈都推过，能推动。有时候我说替替lg人还不乐意给我这
个锻炼身体的机会。吃撑了自动说要去消化消化锻炼身体。楼下的健身器也不爱用了，
说那个冬天没法出去才用。这么好的气候还不赶紧在外面干点活。每天坐办公室脖子疼
死了。
关于ride on，没觉得多省时间，当然看是什么尺寸的。如果是专业的那种很快。看隔
壁几个邻居的ride on都是坐着慢悠悠的在那享受的。纯省力，时间不好说能快多少。

It may take you 2 hours with a self-propelled mower. If you buy a mowing car
, job is much easier and faster. But it will cost you $1000. You also have
to give mower some maintenance every year which may be hard for you. In my
area, hiring a guy costs about $20-25 per mowing. I think it is worth of it. |

mine is ~4000, but once I did the last mowing and stored the mower without
charging, the next spring, I did the first mowing with the left-over charge,
it went through nicely.
The specs of the mower says it can handle 1/3 acre with one charge, that is
about ~14,000 sq ft, so it is quite capable. |

the flower bed, cutting bushes?
If it is only for mowing, I don't think it worthy of $80 per month.
I can mow my lawn in just 10 minutes. The difficult part to me is to make
the flower bed in front yard clean and beautiful.
Because you CANNOT use weed-killer for removing grass/weed in your flower-
bed.
If you do so, some flowers will be killed too. |

my yard seems over 15度, used last weekend. When mowed on the slope, most of
the time I went straight up/down and made turn on flat areas.
When mowing across the slope horizontally, just had to be slow and no sharp

3 wks, otherwise the lawn looks ugly as hell.
when the temperature gets above 90 deg outside, along with humidity, mowing
the yard can become a very unpleasant experience, you get sweaty very
quickly, and there are all the bugs flying around. so a powerful and

前天找了个美国人做mowing，当时说第一次的价格是60多刀，包括割草、清理枯枝等，另外因为家
里还没租yard waste的桶，他答应把垃圾都运走。
今早来作业，我正好不在，回来一看，草是割了，枯枝没有清理，垃圾也没有运走，扔在我们家
recycle的桶里。当时就有点不爽，想想版上童鞋们说一般割草只有25-30刀左右，感觉他的价格开
高了，即使是之后bi-weekly的mowing，他说最少也要50刀，于是打电话给这个美国先生，想问问

不那么费袋子。

I haven't really got a chance to explore the east coast resort yet. Being in
central Jersey, all decent resorts are at least a few hours away, which
makes it harder to make a plan. Any tips on the good resorts? hehe
POW MOW is GREAT!! Less expensive, less crowded (although it is getting more
and more attention these couple years...), definitely worth the drive.

as long as you mow it regularly. This is the property no other common turf
grass has. I had builder installed Tiff419 bermuda when I moved in my new
house. Weeds are always problems since I use organic stuff only for fear of
the never ending lawn disease, poisoning cycles. Organic lawn care builds up
