前几天看了中文媒体关于梁彼得案的几篇文章，刚开始我也很困惑，为什么一个走火误
杀会判那么重。直到昨天我无意中看到梁彼得的配枪，由于接受过长期的枪械训练，我
瞬间反应过来那几篇文章很可能只选择性披露了部分事实。所以我去找了一下相关的英
文报道，发现陪审团在梁彼得案上作出的裁决，并非如一些中文媒体口中所说的不公。
梁彼得之所以被裁定所有罪名成立，主要有以下几个原因。
一
事发时梁使用的是一支格洛克G19手枪，纽约巡警的标准装备。熟悉枪械的人看到这可
能已经意识到问题，那就是这支手枪几乎不会走火。通常我们讲的枪械走火分两种情况
，一种是由于枪械故障，在没有扣扳机的情况下自己击发；另一种则是由于使用者紧张
或惊恐，无意中误扣扳机。G19的设计非常特殊，它有个保险在扳机上，没扣扳机时保
险会自动弹起顶住扳机，这个保险只有在扳机被扣下时才会打开。而纽约警察学院的枪
械教官也证实了这点，纽约警局内的G19走火一年仅有20次左右，并且极少由枪械本身
引起。
