我对维特根斯坦一直不太感冒。不过昨天看了个8g，太特么神／牛了。。。看完很虚幻。
书作者，就像这里被评价的有点夸张。
不过一战、二战之间的奥匈帝国／奥地利確是很有趣。
顺便再隆重推荐一下，我成年以后唯一记得有印象的长篇小说，奥地利作者robert
musil 的《the man without quantities》（中译：没有个性的人）。
ps，维特根斯坦弟弟paul wittengenstein的故事里，我偶像Prokofiev还友情出演了。

为什么没有我偶像maurice ravel呢？呃，以前就听说paul介个左手刚擎家，当时还想

西方国际社会学（或称全球社会学）的蓬勃发展，略迟于西方发展经济学和发展政治学的发展。五十年代和六十年代，帕森斯的社会发展理论占统治地位。七十年代，社会现代化理论、依附论、世界体系论，影响广泛。现在，只有世界体系论硕果仅存。主要代表人物有颇郎伊、艾森斯塔德、墨尔、佛兰克、斯卡齐波尔、梯利、傅高义、林茨、蔡斯-丹，而影响最大的是沃勒斯坦。在亚欧非世界大体系中，中国第一长达一千多年，欧洲是边缘。1865年前后，英国产值超过中国；1900前后，美国产值超过英国；中国成了边缘。今后几十年内，中国产值有可能超过美国，并长期保持第一。果如此，则中国第一就是人类世界体系的常态。

是张纯如的母亲写的，算是比较新的书了。sd的公立图书馆系统还没有任何copy。我捐
之前的要求就是进流通借阅部，而不是在旧书店卖掉，因为是特意买来捐的。nobel这
里的north universities 图书馆查阅后表示肯定会进流通借阅。
同时还带的一本张的南京大屠杀，还有华裔美国 口述历史的书，图书馆都有不少
copies，所以只能进旧书店，我就没捐。
同时向图书馆建议在12月展出南京大屠杀和张的传记，不过因为时间紧，而且我也考虑
12月主要是节日气氛，所以建议来年的11月9日张纯如祭日前后，在展示架上推荐她的

我出生在“文化大革命”高潮时的上海。
外婆后来告诉我，她当时抱着襁褓之中啼哭不止的我，心惊胆战地听着“武斗”的
枪声。
在我少年时，我被灌输了一个关于人类社会发展规律的大故事，这个“元叙事”是
这样说的：
所有的人类社会都遵循一个线性的目标明确的发展规律，即从原始社会开始，经由
奴隶社会、封建社会、资本主义社会、社会主义社会，最终过渡到(猜猜这个终点？)共
产主义社会。共产主义社会是人类政治、社会发展的最高阶段，所有的人类社会，不管
民族、文化、语言有何异同，或早或晚都将演进到这一阶段。人类社会自此大同，彼此
相亲相爱，永远过着幸福的生活——人间天堂。但在实现这样目标之前，我们必须投身

根据安省财政厅(Department of Finance)2月11日公开的文件，省府原计划花费约250万元在法语、英语、原住民和少数族裔的报纸和电台上宣传合并销售税。但是由于安省审计总长 Jim McCarter以此举违反安省法律为由否决了印刷广告计划，于是安省政府只得花费60万元在网上宣传合并销售税。

（比如当前状况）和边界条件（比如外部干涉，自然地理变化），然后计算其发展。
计算历史目前看基本是不太可能的。除非演算一个非常小，非常狭窄的问题。
楼主的这个，是计算语言学，计算文本分析这一块的。
比如说，对红楼梦，圣经的类似分析十几年前就很多了。得出许多有趣结论。
首先，不同作家有自己的文字规律，比如某历史学家大量使用patently 这个词，别人
几乎一次不用。
其次，任何作品，都有许多pattern, form之类。比如圣经里面，上帝用泥土造人，这
就是一个form, 这个form 在许多原始民族的神话里面都有，比如女娲。但是另外还有
一个上帝，用word来创造，是非常形而上的，在原始社会里面找不到的，一股柏拉图的
味道扑面而来。电脑能把这些form找出来，可以大致确定不同章节最初形成的原文年代。
资治通鉴是一个非常有意思的东西，其历史叙述的pattern非常强硬，可以和圣经旧约
的历史类比。
旧约的历史有个模式，以色列拜偶像，远离耶和华，不尊敬祭司，肯定灾难到来；远离
偶像，亲近祭司，必然盛世幸福。

如果一个社会规定只有阉人才能当主教、教皇或者皇帝，那就是阉人当主教、教皇、皇
帝。大家也都觉得正常了。
在古中国，太监只是皇权的一部分，是皇权的执行者。所谓太监干政就一定倒霉，就和
牝鸡司晨一定倒霉一样，都是胡扯，是歧视，或者是idealized narrative。
明朝后来的问题也不是因为重用太监。明朝和唐朝不同，是彻底的文官政治了，所以唐
朝太监能废皇帝。明朝绝无可能，朱元璋以后，明朝太监只是皇帝能指挥得动的一批人
