统考。八点正式开始，七点十五分入场。考场是在休斯敦的NRG Center。
我提前到了考场等待，并及时入场。入座以后，首先按规定把驾照和准考证摆在规定
的位置，因为是开卷考试，把参考资料也放好。考试是连续的，上午四小时，下午四小
时，中间一小时休息。我在7点30分左右就去上厕所了，等我回来大概7点40，旁边的人
告诉我好像我的有些信息不符，监考的人找过我 ，我看了看，名字完全符合 ，所以也
没有着急找他们，就在那等着。大概五分钟以后，那个负责我们一小片监考的黑女来了
，告诉我的驾照过期了。我这才注意到过期两月了。
我说我有EAD卡在车里（考场不让带钱包），能不能去拿。我的车就停在考场门口的停
车场，来回少于五分钟 。这个黑女不置可否，说那个主考官说了算。那个主考官黑男
正要准备念规则，我急问，他说来不及了，还有两分钟关门。我问我先考，中间去拿行

这本书是一个儿童心理医生Bruce Perry和一个记者的合著。里面收录的都是这个医生
亲手治疗过的案例。
我自从知道有“为人父母",就想来推荐此书，但是一再犹豫。因为收录的这下案例非常
非常的extreme。有幼童亲见母亲被杀，或是遭遇性侵，还有冷血少年杀手，遭邪教洗
脑的孩子，和如书名所诉，被和狗一起圈养的孤儿。这绝对不是一个“容易”读的书。
我一直认为我的心里承受能力很不错，但是两次读此书，我都经常要take a break，我
觉得很多有孩子的人都会觉得这本书读不下去。

6月20日上午，来自海外中国教育基金会支教团队的美籍华人高雷老师和Lily老师不远
万里来到我校和学生们团聚。
2013年春，针对学生目前英语口语欠缺这一现状，我校在海外中国教育基金会的牵线搭
桥下，和远在美国的高雷老师和Lily老师结缘。她们利用远程网络课堂，义务为我们学
校学生进行英语口语教学，她们流利的口语、丰富的肢体语言，一下子就吸引了参与远
程学习的的每一位师生。每堂课精彩不断，得到了全校师生的一致好评！通过一年多的
共同学习和交流，这两位老师决定回国，和即将毕业的九年级同学团聚一次，也和在校
正在参与远程口语学习的七八年级学生来一次零距离接触，化虚拟的网络联系为真正的

据警方公布的报警电话记录中显示，惊慌失措的哈梅尔对调度员说：“这不可能是真的。”当警方赶到现场后，哈梅尔对他们说：“她死了，她死了。”
雷克郡(Lake County)法医处表示，奥莉维亚被送往圣玛丽医院后，于5时25分宣告不治。

美利坚合众国第二百四十个独立节之日，重温了一下当时美国立国时杰弗逊起草的《独
立宣言》。
每读一次就不得不再次感慨当时立国之父们的英明及远见。他们在北美这块土地上，抛
弃了大不列颠的君王统治，建立起美利坚这样一个伟大的国家。
一切似乎都是上帝赐予的：这块土地上不仅有雄伟壮观的东部阿普拉契山脉及西部的落
基山脉，而且有着从广袤无际的大草原到美丽宽阔的大海洋，这富绕的土地难道不是一
种恩赐吗？是的，不过上帝恩赐给地球的土地也不仅限于美利坚，算算美利坚的土地面
积，即使现在也只位于全球第三或第四，为何美利坚却成了人们向往的地方呢？
作为移民，也许比这儿生长的美国人有更多的比较。一个感悟是当年《独立宣言》的基
石，即人人生而平等（all men are created equal)，天赋给个人的权力等不能受到侵
犯，这包括生命权（Life），自由权(Liberty)及追求幸福的权力（Pursuit of
