possibilities (listed in the likelihood from higher to lower):
1. lumbar spinal stenosis seems able to explain every symptom he has, but it
was not shown on MRI you described. Another possibility is that arteries
supplying lumbar level nerve roots are abnormal. In non-invasive
examinations, CT/MR angiogram might help diagnosis in the latter case.

我家小妞三个半月大，今晚第一次进行了真正意义上的sleep train. 9点送上床之后开
嚎，期间几次
差点背过气去。一小时后终于在我和她爹为其翻身抚背后抽抽噎噎的睡着了。。。
我想问的问题是：白天的nap是不是要接着训？她白天的nap质量恶化的很厉害，平时要
抖着才能睡着，
现在经常10分钟就醒，最后为了帮助她撑过1小时只好挂在人身上睡。
可是如果白天也要sleep train的话，等吃饱了休息好了（她有比较严重的reflux)犯困
了再送上
床，等哭够了估计又该到下顿吃饭时间了。。。而且要命的是，我自己一个人在家还不
知道能不能顶住
小妞的哭声和爷爷奶奶的压力。。。

二宝出生10天就尿路感染住院，到现在还在每天吃抗生素，参考前面的帖子吧～
4个多月的时候，反正他的额骨中间拱起，很担心，一查发现有很多可能性，就去看医
生，然后被refer到专科（Neurology）.等了2个月才排到，然后周一拍了CT. 今天医生
电话说要看Neurological Surgeon 专科。打电话又要等，说要看Case的严重程度再说.
..
我都实在受不了这个煎熬了，上了问问看有没有同样情况的孩子。
CT report 上说：

上周终于见到surgeon了，得到很肯定的答案说一切都好～ 不用手术了！
医生说，老二的头型在中国孩子中比较少见，前后长，有点儿像舟状头...其实4-9个月
额骨的那条缝本来就差不多会闭合的，等所有的缝闭合后，头还是能长大，就是方式变
了——不是靠骨缝，而是靠新骨头出现，旧的骨头在内部消融... 婴儿的头后期长大的
本来也会慢一些。
最近老二的额头上的棱儿最近好很多了，刚才上了张万圣节的照片，好像基本上也看不
太出来了。
感谢大家的祝福和关心。
希望他的另外的健康问题也能早日解决，不用每天吃药...

老大三岁了，两岁半开始上幼儿园，现在上了大概7个月左右。他喜欢跟大人玩，不喜
欢，或者可以说是害怕跟同龄的小朋友玩。在幼儿园，群体活动的时候他总是跑到一边
，自己一个人玩。他只跟一两个玩的熟的小朋友玩到一起。 上个星期，幼儿园老师跟

我自己不觉得他自闭，在家里总是拉着爸爸妈妈，或者爷爷奶奶跟他玩。玩的时候他还
很喜欢安排别人应该做什么，例如应该妈妈应该坐在那里，爸爸应该跟在他后面等等。
他也很喜欢唱歌，经常跟着电视大声唱。他体力很好， 我们住在Atlanta. Atlanta的
石头山（stone mountain）,他已经能自己爬到山顶，而且下山。 他平衡能力也很好，
喜欢玩走独木桥的游戏，而且走的很稳。他也很喜欢爬高爬低，经常爬到幼儿园的柜子
或者沙发上，弄得老师很头痛。

这个其实不是正确与错误的问题，而是 neurological pathway 的差异的问题，
导致对一般人群很自然的想法，对特定人群可能变成天方夜谭的事。
至于你所说的，通过批评父母来意识到自己的价值，对于一般人群来说，这是有
点匪夷所思的。因为一般人群的自信是建立在自我实现，而不是批评他人的基
础上的。一般人群的批评他人的主要目的是前车之覆。But again，这也就是
neurological pathway 差异的问题。对已一般人群匪夷所思的，对某些人群
可能就是非常自然非常必要的。
所以实际上俺也不好说啥。
但是从另一个角度说，想要一般人群理解该特定人群，也是一件很困难的事情。
对于感同身受的思维方式的人，可能根本没法感同身受（不过俺不是这种思维
方式，俺并不确定。）
对于分析型思维方式的人，可能分析结果就是 acknowledge 这种情况，无法
predict，遇到这种情况的策略是 proceed with caution。 |

短期重复 20 次，可能就是把单条 neurological pathway 搞得
很粗壮。
“记忆 => 部分遗忘” 循环 7 次的话，可能可以产生 7 条不完全
一样的 neurological pathways。
所以这个就转变成 “一个 edge weighting 很高，但 edge 数量
很少的 graph” vs “一个 complete graph” 的 计算题。。。

是不是需要referral， 如果是HMO的话就要referral。
长老会跟Beth Israel 是最好的了，不过等待时间应该很长，宝宝可能等不起，可以打
开你保险的provider list上找这个专科的医生，打电话去问问预约时间，多约几个，
有不同的意见也好。 |

我现在也想跟第一个Radiologist聊聊，为什么得出了99%是Ponti Glimoma的结论，报
告上写的第一个MRI的结论是“Probable small pontine glioma, the appearance is
unlikely to represent a vascular malformation, focus of demyelination,
infective-inflammatory process or ischemia”。也就是说第一个Radiologist认为

“肖氏反射弧”真相解析
肖传国教授在世界上第一个提出并证实 “人工建立体神经-内脏神经反射弧” 用于治
疗各种脊髓损伤导致的排尿障碍。这一发现在肖传国与方舟子之间挑起了一场科学与反
科学长达五年的论战。为帮助公众了解这场论战的事实真相，本文首先从学术角度根据
科学文献和科学事实对“肖氏反射弧”作一番解析。
反射是神经支配机体生理机能的基本方式。反射弧一般由感受器，传入神经，反射中枢
，传出神经和效应器组成。正常的排尿反射由位于脑干和大脑皮层的高级排尿中枢控制
达骶髓的排尿反射初级中枢完成。膀胱充盈时，膀胱壁的牵张感受器受到刺激而兴奋。

发帖数: 716 | 50 我全部拷贝过来了，他们做了两次，第一次两个病人，6个月以后，反射弧都成功了，
15个月以后，停了药和导尿管。没有并发症。第二次，9个病人，一年以后，7个病人能
通过皮肤刺激导尿，但是没有一个能完全控尿，两个病人能下导尿管。其他两个手术带
来的好处一是肠功能，二是膀胱sensation。另，这9个病人中有一个 产生了垂足的后
果。除此外，没有其他的并发症发生。
从这些数据，可以看出，
1，反射弧形成的比例相当高，第一次，2/2, 第二次， 7/9 能自主小便。
2, 不能完全改善： 第一次，2/2停了药和导尿管；第二次，0/9可以完全自主导尿，2/9下了导尿管。
3， 其他好处： 肠功能，膀胱sensation
4， 并发症，或副作用，第一次， 0/2, 第二次： 1/9 垂足。
