education selections based on morals. My guess the underlining reason is
that parents don't want kids to get used to the violence which may develop
to violent behaviors later in puberty, and they want the exposure postponed

来这个公司混了快5年，公司挺大，总部这儿一个president,5个vp。研发部的director看起来高大威猛不苟言笑，vp则嬉皮笑脸。当初他们interview我的时候实际顺序和告诉我的顺序颠倒了。从此我就将director当成了vp，将vp当成了director。来这个公司工作后每次见到他们的时候名字都叫错了，他们也都将错就错。后来有个跟vp的orientation，我跑到director那儿，他问我有什么事情，我说有orientation啊。他说他没空，我就走了，也就错过了跟真正vp的orientation。直到一个多月以后跟我当时的manager闲聊的时候我才发现自己搞错了。后来我的一些工作找vp汇报，大家都没提orientation，就这么尴尬的过去了。这个错误很大程度上是自己当年的英文太差导致。

nnd。。那个ming court名不副实。全是给米国人吃的改良垃圾。
门面倒是很不错。。。价钱倒是不含糊

可以,不过只能看中文小菜谱,还要避免点川菜(前面有人说嘉麟阁川菜
做的好,以我六年成都生活经验,实在没看出来).利口福还是不错的,但
是老吃它的面条和烤鸭也就不行了.
回来就赶去了林园, 经历了头2天的失败, 这次我
们都很小心谨慎, 路上没有再念叨什么这次一定错不了之类的美好愿望了, 我们都安慰
自己, 嗯, 就算再差, 肯定也不会比头2天的差了... 进了店堂, 坐下来以后, ld就说,
嗯, 这家店看起来不错, 装潢啥的看起来还蛮像那么回事的. 于是赶紧点菜, 准备好
好的吃一顿. 林园是一家粤菜馆, 海鲜类的菜比较多, 我们因为第二天准备吃lobster
buffet, 所以就没有点它的龙虾了, 于是要了一份豉汁花蚬, 一份卤汁牛腩白菜, 一份
北菇鸭掌鸭翼煲. 吃的那叫一个香啊.......啧啧... 真好吃啊真好吃.....后悔啊, 早
点知道FL版多好啊....呵呵

发帖数: 66 | 49 不用担心，办EL是比较费时间的，短的有2个月拿到的，长的有等了4个月的。但是好像
没有听说谁最后有问题而拿不到的。中国留学生的背景和以往经历都是很单纯的，不用
自己吓自己:)
关于办EL时间长短不一的问题，大家都不是办EL部门的人，当然不知道究竟是什么因素
导致的。但是我个人归咎于姓名是否容易重名的问题（name check）。
你应该会收到relocation package文件，选择是拿搬家费自己搬家，还是由公司负责搬
但是不拿搬家费了。好像intel是不负责第一个月的住宿的（我不确定啊）。
上班第一天是参加new employee orientation。在此之前你应该会收到一个针对这个
orientation的package，有很多表要提前填好，和其它的在orientation上用到的文件
。你会得到通知什么时候到哪参加这个orientation的。
有问题，不要不好意思问你的经理，他一般会指定一个秘书一样的人或组里的其他人帮
你解答一些问题的。 |
