1. Avago technology, 做LED的 R&D engineer (给了career level), 负责700nm GaAs
LED的新产品开发,和现有产品的维护,比如性能出现偏差了去找原因,具体
fabrication和test的数据从其他人那里得到。新产品的开发还处于起步阶段,但估计
也只是小的改进,在design或者process上或者提高性能,减小cost等等。interview的
时候感觉manager不是水平很高,很aggressive那种,不过人还比较nice,不知道是否
跟着高水平的manager在学东西方面会很不一样。工资大概是平均水平,但是每年的涨
幅可能只有2%-3%的样子,bonus也少,全年收入差不多14个月工资,工作压力较小,5
天8小时,几乎不加班。
2. Astar institute,属于新加坡政府科研所,plasmonics Si photonics项目,用软件
simulation来设计结构,优化参数。该所有fabrication能力,不过也是其他人负责做

工广告就知道了。
plasmonics/metamaterial,是火坑勿跳!要真选这个课题了你就快加强fabrication方
面吧!
on-chip photonic interconnect / silicon photonics 相对好找工作,但确实是大公
司才玩得起. 有师兄找到这方面工作,但要绿卡。
FDTD?最好自己能写FDTD算法,精通理论,还要精通软件。招人公司有seagate,ANSYS..
做模拟还是好的,若实在不行还可以改行做码工. |

plasmonics有过研究,与其相关的领域thermal radiation and near-field heat
transfer, Casimir force也发过paper。因为再过半年就要毕业了想申请Eb1b,但是现

这里的吸收峰位置和强弱应该和Surface Plasmon Resonance的共振模式有关
对于尺寸比较小的球星颗粒,在准静态近似下
吸收主要对应于偶极子模式的共振,共振波长位于可见光区
纳米棒的横向模式即对应于此
而在纵向,导带电子的谐振频率比较低,所以在吸收光谱上表现为近红外的吸收
金纳米材料激发态的寿命,主要由电子-声子耦合系数决定,一般都在ps左右
对于金纳米棒,在SPR的横向和纵向共振峰出,实验结果显示耦合系数没什么差别 |

纳米金属表面的等离子共振是因为在吸收光以后,电子群和正电荷群一起朝相反的方向
移动,然后没被吸收的光显现出颜色,是这样的吗?
为什么尺度变大后吸收光红移?(好像是红移),是因为电子密度降低而共振频率降低?
那个等离子共振的频率是不是就像电子跃迁那样,只有一个频率才能激发的?
那么氧化锌之类也可以吸收么? |
