我认为，要真正理解学术界的精髓，只需读懂“食“和”色”两个字。您可能不解，怎么
学术科研这么“阳春白雪”的东东和“食色”这等俗务扯上啦？
为了不使我的讨论太突兀，first, allow me to formally introduce myself:)
我就是传说中的“三俗”哥。第一，我好吃。基本到了“食不厌精”的地步。曾经
我一红颜知己评价我“吃嘛嘛香，干嘛嘛行”，虽然我知道是忽悠，但仍然深以
为许：）我还特好酒。不管洋酒，国酒，我都喜欢。对酒，我不但舍得花钱，

Not entirely surprisingly, this one involves cats. Because all the good ones
do.
Chemistry Cat is based on an old pic (by internet standards) with a
refreshing new twist — geek jokes.
There's not much else to say other than this is what the web was invented
for.
So far, quickmeme and icanhascheezburger have done most of the playing

傳說的影響，而不是反過來。

这个knock knock joke倒是挺有意思的。通过误解多音词来达到诙谐的效果。双方模拟
开门时的场景，前四句是固定格式，最后一句抛包袱。。。。。是四句加长串的形式。
：）维基百科上给出了一个样本：
The punster: Knock, knock!
The recipient: Who's there?
The punster: Doctor (替换词)
The recipient: Doctor who? (替换词+who)
The punster: How did you know?! (包袱)
笑料是Dr. who是时空穿梭的外星博士。呵呵。这类笑话在法国也很流行，法国是歌词
版的。

《圣经》“很黄很暴力”的章节体现在“雅歌”部分。
“雅歌”的希伯来原名为sirhassirim（即最美之歌），因此英文译为「歌中之歌
」（the song of songs）。又因在希伯来文圣经中有一个特别的短句，传统上译为“
所罗门的”，所以也被称为“所罗门之歌”（Song of Solomon）。
“雅歌”中有着许多的男女爱情故事，甚至部分内容很露骨地描写了男女情欲和
肉体接触的片段，既无灵异的味道，也缺乏宗教的意义，又没有明确的大纲，但却能纳
入正典，因而引发许多圣经学者和释经家的讨论与研究。据说，犹太拉比的传统中，规
定年满三十岁才能阅读“雅歌”部分。
从统计学上来说，该篇53%的内容都是以女性的口气来说话。即对性爱的赞美和渴
望大多发自女性之口。“雅歌”中多次暗示了男女欢爱的场景，其中多次性活动都是由
女性所发动的。如，第三节第4段，第七节第11-13段，第八节第2-3段。

kinda interesting about the article is that it mentioned fanfics stressed on
emotion variations than plots. is that why there are so many listed as
"angst". and why is slash so popular?

八阕 http://www.popyard.org 网上在讨论“加油”如何翻成英文，结论是根本没有一个英文词，能这样有力简洁上口地表达相同的意思。有人说，外国人喊“GO USA！”，当然不能和加油相比；如果是AFGANISTAN人喊，怎么办？难道喊“GO AFGANISTAN！”吗？
从加油一词，让我想到中英文翻译问题，英文的东西翻成中文，相对是容易，除了个别
的和特殊的以外，比如一些PUNS等，我还真没有碰到什么英文的作品是不能翻成中文的
。但是，另一方面，中文翻成英文，那要不知道困难多少，不知道有多少中文作品根本
不能或者很难翻成英文，诗歌，散文，小说（你翻红楼梦，西游记看看！你翻金庸武打
小说看看！）一句话，英翻中不知要比中翻英容易多少倍啊！
原因很简单，中文要比其他文字，比如英文，要复杂地多得多！ 中文的表达力要强得
多的多！简直不是一个程度上的语言！
要明白这个道理，不是容易的事，除非你对中英文都有深刻的了解，对中国人而言，特
