It normally takes me about 16~18 mins to the campus(old capital area) from
HD, it is only about 3 miles.
Also there is a small shut cut to the campus along the railway:
head north on Momentrek, and turn right (east) after the railway bridge,
follow the small paved trail.

verticle and 4 horizontal is enough. It is time to start railway
construction for ordinary common mass. If China have cheap railway to
connect 3,000 county level city, they would have sustainable good life for

这三个在一起， 可以一起买票， 但是觉得Inclined Railway很没劲，
可以不用去。
水族馆我们还没去过， 但是上面几个地方一天就逛完了。

简单总结一下就是，Federal Railway Administration (FRA)同意这么个私人公司，
Texas Central Railway，来计划搞达拉斯休斯顿高铁，网站见：

对咱们这附近居民来说，问题在于目前他们最中意的一个线路方案要经过这里！

注意绿线的位置。另外它名字虽然叫Utility Alternative，但在那个公司自己的评估
报告里面得分比另一条BNSF Option 1要高——具体的等下贴出来。

不说能不能修成的问题，哪怕就是永远不开工一直到这公司破产，只要他们确定了这条
线，也不会对咱们有什么好影响。
已经是后知后觉，错过10月29号的public scoping meeting了。

运可以买个纸箱子装车，不过我觉得这比较麻烦，没试过。
DC可以骑到Philly坐Septa-NJ Transit，这是可以带bike上车的，不用bike pass，我
这么干过，很方便
Boston不知道怎么搞，估计的至少骑回康州才有connection回曼哈顿了。
当然你时间多的话也可以骑往返了。

本来计划是8点出发的，但早上7点就醒来了，于是就提早在宾馆稍稍吃了点早饭后出发
了。后来证明，早出发是很有好处的。Lewiston开去白山是2个半小时，路上都是小路
，景色很不错。特别是路上经过的一些湖，早上雾气缭绕在湖山，像极了人间仙境。其
实可以早起专程去看一下这些湖景。到白山Cog Railway是一定要坐的，虽然每个人62
刀票价还是不菲的，但是很值得。火车上山下山都是每小时准点发车，上山路程1小时
左右，下山路程45分钟左右。然后人可以在山顶上逗留1小时，坐下一班火车下山。我
们坐的是11点上山的那班车，之前在车站吃了点午饭。Cog Railway去的是Mt.
Washington的山顶，应该是附近的最高峰了，据说天气好可以看到海和加拿大。不过
Washington山顶的天气变化无常，我们上山的时候就遇到了所谓World's Worst的天气
。火车上到半山时四周就全是雾气，能见度几乎为0。只能看见周围一些被冰雪覆盖的
石头和草。到了山顶更是冰天雪地，狂风大作，在室外没待多久冻僵了，只能躲到山顶

chattanooga的lookout mountain, 从atlanta开车过去大概1个多小时.我去了三个景点
，ruby falls, railway, 和rock city. 三个景点离得很近，可以买联票，一天就可以
玩完。
ruby falls是在一个山洞里有个瀑布，还不错，有点特色，山上产玉，山洞里全是玉石
，可惜都长在墙上，不能捡了带回家:D
railway就是一百多年前的索道，80度的陡坡看起来很惊险，其实车厢后面有根绳索，
由控制室拉住，慢慢地放下去，没什么景观。到站后对面的ice-cream店很实在，买个1
-scoop的ice-cream给了超大的两勺
rock city就是巨型岩石堆起来的一座山，修出路来，忽而在岩石缝里钻，忽而从岩石

有什么股票跟高铁有关系的？我觉着这次沪杭高铁TG能平稳跑出世界第一的速度，技术试点算是圆满完成了，离大规模推广不远了。美股两个涨的不错，都是今年new high。
