新京报讯 （记者刘春瑞）你赞成火车站英文名改成汉语拼音吗？9月1日起，北京西站
和北京南站发车的车票上的站名英文名悄然发生了变化，英文拼写变成了汉语拼音。之
后，车站所有的相关站牌名也都会随之发生变化。
方位词统一用汉语拼音
日前，铁道部下发通知，为规范铁路车站站名的英文译法，铁路车站站名的英文拼写统
一采用汉语拼音，“东南西北”方位词作为车站站名的固有部分，不按英文音译。涉及
“地名+方向”的站名，方位词统一采用汉语拼音。如“北京西站”的英文翻译为“
Beijingxi Railway Station”。
通知要求，车票票面上及其他有关站名的英文标注，按照上述原则，统一采用汉语拼音。
铁道部表示，站名中方位词已经按英文意译的站名牌及其他相关设施的更换改造，在短
期内完成确有困难的，可逐步完成。

China Railway Wins $4.8 Billion Indonesia Project

March 25 (Bloomberg) -- China Railway Group Ltd. won a $4.8 billion order
from PT Bukit Asam, Indonesia’s state-owned coal producer, for a coal
transport project on Sumatra island.

At least 11 people have died after two high-speed trains crashed into each
other in China's eastern province of Zhejiang on Saturday causing two
carriages to fall off a bridge, state news agency Xinhua reported.
Another 89 people have been sent to hospital, it added. Each carriage could

目前，北京地铁的英文站名是用拼音翻译的，因为作为一个千年古都，其地名实在是太
有“文化味”，实在是难以翻译。为此北京地铁方面还曾提出向市民征集英文意译名称
的邀请。不过目前官方的意译站名还没有正式开始采用。《华尔街日报》昨天可能是等
不及了，该报中文版网站“中国实时报”刊文，贴出了一张“英文直译”的站名地图。
由于这份直译地图实在太奇葩，中国读者阅后纷纷表示：喷饭了……
