the railway, plus the railway was separated by a small hills. During
daytime, no problem at all, at night you can hear the blowing(not loud at
all) but can not feel anything. For me it was not a problem at all. I think
you need to go there at night and listen, then decide if you could accept
it. |

I do know that railway are much more fuel efficient than trucking. However,
if Buffett is betting on that more land traffic for goods, I would bet that
trucking should benefit as well as the railway, even if that's less fuel
efficient. |

YES! UK 在境外会专门发行一些railway card 为外国游客的，
如果你可以买到那个可以化算很多的,否则UK的火车票实在是挺贵的
。
另外如果你只去SCOTLAND的话， SCOTLAND RAILWAY也有一种RAIL
CARD
专门在SCOTLAND境内用的，也不错的，你到乐SCOTLAND再买就可以乐
，
不用提前预订的说。不过说实话，如果泥有driving lience的话，
开车游SOCTLAND是最佳方安. |

not say what the sign 标识 says or what manner it is.

springs. Most, if not all, I have not heard of. I lived in City of
Kaohsiung and was hardly know of presence of a British consulate. I will
double check, by going to a book store in Boston.
To MJMJMJ: 台鐵 Taiwan Railway Administration, which is distinct (i.e.,
different) from Taiwan High Speed Railway, is pretty food. Punctuality is
more than 90%, slightly better than Amtrak in US. I will double check the
data also.

周末到了有好多群友想欣赏科州的秋色，但又不想长途跋涉，山高水远的去著名景点朝
圣，其实丹佛周边也有蛮多赏秋不错的地方在这里和大家分享，丹佛西边金门州立公园
（Golden Gate State Park） 里的黑熊马蹄步道（Black Bear and Horseshoe Loop）
; 波德肖托夸公园（Chautauqua Park）里的皇家拱门步道（Royal Arch Trail） ; 莫
里逊（Morrison）红石公园附近灰熊莱尔奥步道（Lair O’ The Bear Trail）; 波德
的大蓝干步道（Big Bluestem Trail）。

发帖数: 1268 | 50 chattanooga的lookout mountain, 从atlanta开车过去大概1个多小时.我去了三个景点
，ruby falls, railway, 和rock city. 三个景点离得很近，可以买联票，一天就可以
玩完。
ruby falls是在一个山洞里有个瀑布，还不错，有点特色，山上产玉，山洞里全是玉石
，可惜都长在墙上，不能捡了带回家:D
railway就是一百多年前的索道，80度的陡坡看起来很惊险，其实车厢后面有根绳索，
由控制室拉住，慢慢地放下去，没什么景观。到站后对面的ice-cream店很实在，买个1
-scoop的ice-cream给了超大的两勺
rock city就是巨型岩石堆起来的一座山，修出路来，忽而在岩石缝里钻，忽而从岩石
上swing bridge走过去，挺好玩。
沿着山开上去有很多俯视TN的山顶view的豪宅，有些大的和城堡差不多。不小心迷路的
时候也不无聊，慢慢开着看看两边的豪宅也还不错：）
从atlanta开过去，路过一个town叫helen, 有人推荐说是个有德国特色的小镇，背依着
