当时签合同是一年的，也是at will，
发resign letter写什么？就写研究兴趣和这个组很不fit?
第一次遇到这种事，请问有什么建议？
尤其是对以后career会有什么不好的影响吗？谢谢。 |

transfer的途径
问题是，因为不想跟老板搞僵，我老早高速老板我在找工作，老板现在不爽了，跟我要
定一下deadline，初步是1月中旬，然后说让我现在就发个resignation letter,因为学
校需要时间来处理。如果她fire我，还要提前两个月。
我担心的是，如果我今天就发了resignation letter,会不会J1的状态就变成“to be
ternimated”之类的，我就tranfer不了了？我试图能说服老板晚点再发这个信，如果
我年底前都没offer的话...
另外，如果我通过resignation letter quit了，这是算J1 termination 还是正常的结
束？
J1 termination非常不好，不仅没有grace period，而且还会影响到以后入境 |

，还可以claim unemployment insurance。如果你resign，这两样都拿不到。如果还没
拿到绿卡，最好别claim unemployment insurance因为485时会问有没有接受福利。
但是如果你已经找好下家了，那你想现在就resign，也可以。
