下家可能会有些抵触

lay off有赔偿，resign就木有了所以一般公司都会喜欢你主动resign国内还有劝退这
种说法都是资本家的花招不过如果是lay off的话下家可能会有些抵触没人知道你是为.

码很恶心没人愿意接盘做，但对于公司来说是特别赚钱的模块，我的工作表现还可以，

没有签过offer letter，也没上过班，但老板说已经进了什么system,让写resign letter
这个会对以后employment有什么影响吗？background check会查这些吗？要通知现在的employer吗？

请教大家这个情况:
一个半月前拿到个lab的口头offer,老板告诉salary问怎样，我说good opportunity，
后来据说一直process，8月末让我网上填个表和问start date就没别的了，因为opt没到start date
就定9月末，也没有谈h1b的事……
最近有了别的的Offer打算签掉了，结果上面的老板才说process完了（他至现在都没给我任何正式or
书面Offer）我从没签什么文件，也从没说“accept" |

resign是通常情况下你主动走，去一个新工作。 lay off是你被动走，通常是因为公司
要缩水。
新雇主有可能会问你为什么你离开原公司。但我觉得二者对找新工作的影响区别不是很
大。反正都是你现在没工作，你不是fired。
你原公司只能证明你从什么时间到什么时间在那工作，什么职位，多少工资。 法律规
定他们不能说你为啥离开的（fired, laid off or resigned). 这点你不用担心。 |

我的老板，大老板和大大老板都是白人，我和团队的关系都很不错，大家都是朋友相称，
》》》》老板把你当朋友，和你认为老板是你朋友，不是一回事；还有中国人概念里的
朋友，和白人概念里的朋友也完全不是一回事；
我上周末甚至邀请他们来BBQ。 我觉得你已经察觉我就摊牌好了， 没想到回头他就和
大老板说了。
》》》》楼主刚进去都BBQ了，很有前途，但大老板才是最重要的，你和他摊派，他和
大老板摊牌；
第二天周五，他要求我辞职（resign），并且只给我两个星期的时间，然后他说抱歉，
他感谢我的诚实，说如果他不知道就算了，因为他知道了，而且“规定”不能留两个月
，不然他的大老板知道后，会有麻烦。
》》》》你老板说的对，基本就是美国的“潜规则”，他都说不知道就算了（实话），
但是这个Resign大有学问，是让你自己挖坑不连累雇主，欺负外国人不懂法律；
所以抱歉一再抱歉，只能给我两周。就在我打电话之际，他有跑过来和我说，可以让我
周一再写辞职，并且给我三周时间。

如果公司想fire我，给我机会自己辞职，我是该
1.辞职，但有可能损失sign on bonus等利益
2.坚决不辞职，要求lay off，但公司不愿，因为要给lay off package
3.于是公司fire我，以后找新工作要求填表格“你是否曾经被fire过，因为何种原因”
。可能会影响我找新工作。
