什么是“脚本语言”
很多人都会用一些“脚本语言”（scripting language），却很少有人真正的知道到底
什么是脚本语言。很多人用 shell 写一些“脚本”来完成日常的任务，用 Perl 或者
sed 来处理一些文本文件，很多公司用“脚本”来跑它们的“build”（叫做 build
script）。那么，到底什么是“脚本语言”与“非脚本语言”的区别呢？
其实“脚本语言”与“非脚本语言”并没有语义上，或者执行方式上的区别。它们的区
别只在于它们设计的初衷：脚本语言的设计，往往是作为一种临时的“补丁”。它的设
计者并没有考虑把它作为一种“通用程序语言”，没有考虑用它构建大型的软件。这些
设计者往往没有经过系统的训练，有些甚至连最基本的程序语言概念都没搞清楚。相反
，“非脚本”的通用程序语言，往往由经过严格训练的专家甚至一个小组的专家设计，
它们从一开头就考虑到了“通用性”，以及在大型工程中的可靠性和可扩展性。

吹毛求疵一点点：
1. ejb刚出来的时候，persistence tier主流不是hibernate，应该是jdbc,至于ORM，
应该最热的是iBais。当然hibernate是在ejb2年代热起来的，所以ejb3搞jpa就直接弄
来Gavin King，照搬了hibernate
2. Spring当初是lightweight,现在整个spring一点也不light，应该是比javaEE整个标
准加起来都庞大，只不过大家平日只是用到其中一部分而已：Spring core, Spring
security, Spring MVC, and etc...
3. Entity bean还是JavaEE的概念，Spring那帮人就是不好那个，所以搞POJO.所以提
到data object时，对于spring,还是说pojo来的比较好。
4. Hibernate是red hat的,jboss也是red hat的。不过hibernate至少现在不是jboss的。

The Languages
C++ is well-suited for large projects because it has an object-oriented
structure. People can collaborate on one program by breaking it up into
parts and having a small group or even one individual work on each part. The
object-oriented structure also allows code to be reused a lot, which can
cut down development time. C++ is also a fairly efficient language -
although many C programmers will disagree.

有些人问我，在现有的语言里面，有什么好的推荐？我说：“Java。” 他们很惊讶：
“什么？Java！” 所以我现在来解释一下。
Java超越了所有咒骂它的“动态语言”
也许是因为年轻人的逆反心理，人们都不把自己的入门语言当回事。很早的时候，计算
机系的学生用Scheme或者Pascal入门，现在大部分学校用Java。这也许就是为什么很多
人恨Java，瞧不起用Java的人。提到Java，感觉就像是爷爷那辈人用的东西。大家都会
用Java，怎么能显得我优秀出众呢？于是他们说：“Java老气，庞大，复杂，臃肿。我
更愿意探索新的语言……”

却有助有对scheme更好地理解），不过却是学下来不容易，需要代数几何和同伦代数（
model category,simplicial construction,higher category....）扎实的基础
我的感觉：scheme这个范畴有两个不足1.far from abelian 2.too small, lots of
geometry stuff don't sit in there. 于是大家就从各种角度想办法，尝试着把它嵌
入到大一点abelian category,或者推广scheme(stack,simplicial scheme,dg-scheme,
higher stack)
这一套（或者几套）语言不是冲着某个猜想去的，感觉而是为了（？不太确定）
其背后有强烈的从代数拓扑借来的motivation |

盛顿中国大陆大专院校校友联合会”会长。1999年，在国家主席江泽民和 总理朱鎔基
访美期间，他曾作为杰出学者受到亲切接见。1999年，他以“旅美杰出青年科学家”的
身份应邀回国参加50周年国庆庆典活动。作为侨 界领袖，他多才多艺，虽身兼数职却
