speeding ticket上罚款133,警察说要扣4分。
因为不住在南卡，肯定要请律师代出庭。有几个问题：
1) ticket 上警察把我的名字写错了，这个可以做为argue的point吗？还有我的地址也
写错了。
2）一般到哪里找律师？ (我吃ticket的地方叫Ridgeland). 律师费一般多少？
3) 如果不找律师的话，能不能自己写一个written argument 寄到法院里？

昨天开高速，本来在中间的lane，大概65-75之间。我前面就是一辆警车，再前面一辆
车比较慢，大概低于65（可能因为警车在后的原因）。然后警车换到最左lane,超过去
了。我也换到最左lane，跟在警车后面，大概也就70-75左右，可能偏70，记不清了。
当时想着，我在警车后面，怎么样也不可能说我超速吧。然后想不到的事发生了，开了
一小会之后，那辆警车居然把速度放得很慢，绕到我后面然，拦下我说我超速，他说我
开了80。
然后就是和他辩解，反正最后给了我ticket.
大家觉得这种speeding ticket有可能dismiss吗？他应该没有任何实质证据啊？他说我
80是因为他自己80，然后号称我和他距离保持一致，所以我也是80。大家怎么看？ |

以前从来没有罚单。
雷达测速是79. 罚单上把速度写成了75.
但是她在additional informaiton里面写到:
at 79mph in 65 mph zone; slowed to 75mph prior to traffic stop.
issued utt for vtl 1180D speed 75mph in 65 mph zone.
guilty 还是not guilty?
没有罚款多少的信息。
有谁知道罚款多少吗？
我住在nyc， 离开事发地点要3.5小时车程。

咨询了一下律师：律师收费是50-100元。有几个律师对这个小地方居然非常清楚（该地
人口2000余人，发了无数的Tickets），但罚款不知道，估计要200左右（关键是不清楚

speed limit is 55mph, 你最快也就是开65左右，65以上就可能被警察抓. 不过德州有
些地方高速限速80，这个formula就不apply, 限速80开85，不要过90. 不过达拉斯这边
，635上，限速60，最左边的lane经常有车奔80开，也没有警察care. |

under 14-298,在网上搜了下帖子，看到有人说这种不属于speeding，不会扣分，只是
给法院一个charge你的理由。

看来还真是问题没有解决，low speed滑档 rough shift种种问题在stop & go traffic
里被无限放大，刷了TSB 15-021/24之后好几天问题又重现。 包括15 may之后的vin都
有人报告问题依旧。。。
这个看来基本已经超出用户能否“习惯“ dct behavior的范畴了。 祭出老办法，搜了
一下附近14/15 2.4dct的certified, 发现一堆一堆的<4k miles在售，基本就坐实了。
acura到现在不可能不知道有问题，但是一时半会儿是解决不了，zf9hp+tlx v6也是一
坨屎，但是没有dct这么大抱怨声
想想也合理，honda连6at搞不定，扭头去搞cvt,现在又来搞dct..，感觉小学生底子差

speeding ticket，说我55开到了74，超了19。罚款倒是不多（
90），就是保险要涨点，怕影响明年保险。ticket上三个选项：
1. payment; 2. request waiver hearing; 3. request trial
如果我选2，好像就是认罪，向法官解释当时情况。网上查了下，好像最好的结果是给
个啥probationary period取消涨点。最坏的情况除了保险涨点，交court fee外，会不

驾龄10多年了，第一次被警察开ticket，之前就是parking ticket或者camera

大家汇报一下。
1，背景
在I-267上速度为85/55，收到Reckless Driving summon
2，找律师情况
2a）我在网上做了研究，由于fairfax county的CA（检察官）不和个人谈deal，所以，
如果你的法院是fairfax county的话，基本上你就要请律师了。但是，据说其他county
，比如london等完全不用请律师，自己去和CA谈就行。
2b) 通过google和收到的广告，我写了一圈（>15）的邮件，打了一些电话。律师报价
差异极大，有的开价1500，有的是900一口价。大多数人的报价都在600-700之间。在一
系列邮件之后，有两个律师谈到了500，有两个谈到了650。考虑到那两个500的不太保
险，最终选了650的一个经验非常丰富的律师。
3，需要做的准备
一般情况下，律师都会要求做speedometer calibration，同时，要求你上一些课程。

for the Right Front speed sensor Circuit. usually it is a bad sensor, but it
could be a broken wire, although that is not very common. You most likely

Ask for the delayed tactic to the court and hope for the cop will not show
up eventually. That's the only way to defeat the NYC speeding tickets.
Otherwise, the best result is lowering your speed from 74 to 70, which will
result in only 4 points penalty.

一个光打雷还没有下雨的夜晚, 我从一条ramp开上一条45 limit的大路
右边lane有一个车, 大概开55, 我前面要右转, 想超到他前面去, 结果就被停在路中间
隔离带的
警车给拦下来了
我今天就show了他几张照片, 站在警车当时的位置, 表示我从ramp上来到被抓, 根本看
不到这条
路的speed limit sign, 最近的sign在我被拦停下来的位置了, 而且当时是半夜
那个警察还说那里有, 我把照片放最大了给他看, 也看不到
judge就说你自己都不记得你当时的位置, 我只能给他not guilty了
第一次上庭, 就赢了, 很庆幸, 但我知道我开快车习惯了, 下次还是要注意 |

州公园，第一次收到了speeding ticket, 是公园里的一条路从50mph变到25mph，我看
到了sign，就踩了啥车，这时候看见对面一辆truck（不是警车）闪着灯转过来跟着我
，刚开始没觉得是找我，过了半分钟还跟着，就靠边停了，结果人家下来说我25mph开
了58，我晕死，因为3年来第一次拿ticket，有些紧张，他问我的时候，我以为我看到
的那个25之前还有一个，就说没有注意到，但是这个25我踩啥车了，他还说我踩了啥车
还是3－40，谁刹车没有个过程？后来又求情，就说给我算超了15mile。我回家的路上
，专门回去看了看那个路口，确实只有一个25 mph的sigh啊。
等我回到家看到ticket的时候，他写的charge是speeding (58 in 25),但是在下面的
mPH over写的是15。到时候付罚款的时候，法官看哪个啊？那个58 in 25可是很严重的

都碰到。 在熟悉的城市里迷路， 莫名奇妙开到墓地边。。。饶半天出不来。 吓的汗

魂都没了。 pull over 后，被告知开的太快，吓得我说话都抖了，警察说见是初犯，

多办会给个driver improvement course,让我去 ....就不用交罚款.
回家后仔细研究citation发现。。。他写的４７／２５..难道超过２０迈不就是
reckelss drive?难道他趁天黑糊优我的？
今天问了下律师，人直接建议我接受罚款。。。
另外一个朋友打电话问了她state police 的朋友，都说让我上庭。可以减轻处罚，
为啥２人给出的答案完全不一样啊。。。难道就是穷人跟富人思考问题的方式不一？
律师说，上庭也要折腾，交钱，除非你有good excuse.....

被speed camera拍照
ticket寄到家里 给了几个选项
option A: pay the fine
option B: Declaration of non-driver
option C: request a trial/hearing
option D: attend defensive driving school
waiver of Service.
咨询美国同事说这种ticket可以直接不理睬，但是还是不放心。 另外 waiver of
service 是什么意思？ |

晚上大约9：45左右，我开在最左道，开始是感觉后面有辆车跟我跟得特别紧，还在心
里纳闷怎么跟这么紧呢，但黑漆漆的，完全没料想到可能是警察。觉得他跟了大概有5
分钟左右，然后就警灯大闪了， 心想糟糕了
警察叔叔要了我的registration, license，废话也没多说，就直接给我开了个罚单上
面写着2项罪名：fail to keep right,罚100大刀，55mph zone开到70再罚100刀，所以
总共被罚200刀
想请教下：
1、这个第一张speeding ticket 在麻州会影响到insurance premium么？
2、这个说我fail to keep right,麻州是不是不能一直开在最左lane?
3。我应该去hearing么？还是直接认罚了事？去hearing的话，我有一个担心：我当时
开的是家猪的车，他的车子registration还在加州，一直没换到麻州来，而且他的
registration在3月底因为过期被suspend了，我怕万一去法庭，这点闹出更大的事情来
。其次它的车仪表板上的指示灯 |

我是MA的驾照，早上在Maine高速上被抓，65／94。。。。第一次吃speeding ticket。
。。是只有交罚款这一个选项了吗？去年11月在MA吃了个fail to yield的ticket，出
庭时，警察没交报告。当时说算not guilty，但会记录在案。这次的ticket会加在一起
吗？谢谢大家的帮助！ |

真是被ticket弄烦了，Parking ticket今年比较多， 然后是这个speeding的，我在
2001年吃过一张Speeding ticket 后，这是第二张。 最近网上网下都不顺呀。。。
这个不好appeal的。您能帮我想想办法吗？ 谢谢了！现在这张 Ticket合着信用卡还在
我的身边。 |

I was driving around 40-45m/hr on 54(I thought its speed limit is 45), then
spotted one police in the middle of road and signaled me to stop. I stopped,
he kept directing traffic for another 3 minutes then came upon my car. He
is quite strict, saying it was school zone and the speed should be 25m/hr.
He said he will let me go this time and pay attention next time... Lucky.... |
