中国家长对此尤其重视。
在中国的高考制度下，进一个好的高中会对提高高考分数有所帮助。整体来讲，好
高中里的老师对高考重点的掌握与剖析比一般学校的水准会高一些。在好高中里即
使和其它尖子比你很差也没关系。因为最终的竞争对手是全体参加高考的学生。通
过进好高中提高了高考分数，你就赚到了。所以在中国打破头去挤好高中可以理解。
在美国不是一考定音。进好大学的竞争很大一部份来自高中校内。如果小孩能力还
不足以和顶尖高手竞争，进了顶尖高手云集的学校不会对他的大学录取有帮助。今
年Clements High School两个横扫牛校的MM就把其他好学生的机会消减了不少。如
果一个学校有五六个这样的顶尖高手，一些有实力进牛校的高手大概也没机会了。
有人说小孩到了大学会有更强的竞争，宁愿让小孩从高中起就习惯竞争，而且在高
