采购的权限是很大的。就算在采购最规范的公营机构（已经分门别类有了preferred
supplier)，采购依然有很大的灵活性，比如：
1。如果有不止一个preferred supplier，那么选哪个？
2。就算只有一个preferred supplier,那么你买什么档次的东西？比如办公椅，从200
到2000的都有。就算按照不同级别，办公椅有相应最高预算（比如说玛工的椅子不能超
过300块),那么是买150的还是买300的？
如果在私营企业，采购的权力更大。除了上述说的，再从另外一个角度说。比如说你是
一家本地最大超市的麦片采购，你就可以对麦片供货商说，你给那些我竞争对手的价格
如果不比给我的价格至少贵2毛钱，我就去你对手那里采购。你说情况结果会如何？ |

的商品，然后distribute给零售店卖。
amazon这个是supplier直接卖货给用户，amazon在中间只起到收款，物流和handle

Automotive
最初，GM99%的零部件都是自己生产（也就是来源于子公司），子公司时不时来一次罢
工，有一次生产breaker的工厂罢工了，导致GM所有牌子的车子组装都停工了，没有零
部件了。那一次，GM损失很严重，从那以后，GM学会了diversity，也就是说，需要多
个supplier，不同model的车子，supplier也不同。即便一个supplier罢工，也不会影
响到所有的品牌，让损失减少到最少。GM慢慢的把子公司独立了，即便是独立的公司，
也是500强里排名前50。GM自己大约排名前20
最开始子公司还生产90%的零部件，到后来逐步降低到50%以下，公司的订单越来越少，
一时也打不开新的市场，同时，union罢工也是时不时地。汽车工人工资加福利大约是
90多一小时（早在80年代，汽车工人加点班，轻轻松松收入上8万一年）。工人干活也
不并积极，经常磨洋工。最后Delphi 决定提前破产，走chapter 11，就是为了割掉工

Land Rover, Jaguar等。
购买这些车前，先检查你自己或主要亲属是否在福特或其Supplier
工作。福特雇员可以拿到A-plan quote，Supplier雇员可拿到X-plan
quote。不少大学都是福特的recruiting partner，算是supplier的
一部分，如UIUC, UMich, Wisc-Madison, Duke等(attn: RA/TA算雇
员)。X-plan quote通常比Invoice略低，并有可能拿到500刀左右的
专项dealer rebate。另外Ford禁止dealer向X-plan收取手续费广告
费等杂项(相关损失将由Ford公司补贴），所以你拿到的价格应会比
invoice低500多刀。
另外College graduate (从毕业前6个月到毕业后两年）还可拿到500
刀的discount。

生病了，或者有什么事了，WFH。大家也无所谓。相对其他high tech公司的话，白人的
比例确实高一些。不过这也可以保证加班是比较少见的。他们一般都比较注重家庭吧。
一般是亚裔比较拼命些。当然马上要release产品的话，会比较忙。
苹果的supplier很多，我有很多朋友在那些supplier工作都抱怨苹果比较push，前面有
帖子说压力跟富士康一样，可能也是因为富士康是supplier吧，我觉得它对员工还是不
错的。
现在招人很多，也招了很多fresh，现在也看到很多老印，老中了。希望有更多同胞来。 |

且他们说我的保险只能在宝宝出生以后才给我pump。我给unitedhealthcare打电话，保
险公司的人说没有这个要求。于是又给supplier打电话，结果负责我那个人出去
vocation了，下周才回来...
唉，等到下周看她怎么说吧，真麻烦

，好多小的supplier 根本不carry breast pump，好不容易找到henry ford才说只提供
single的。妈呀，为了省钱，只有慢慢打！还有其他捷径直接能找到supplier不？只有
通过保险公司推荐？

有没有这种情况，如果公司不知道我联系的这家中国supplier给我提成，是不是会没有
事情？如果我让这家中国的supplier不让我公司知道我是给他们做代理，是不是会没有
事情呢？感觉我的这个想法有点天真哦。。。
还有一种情况，就跟中国的这家supplier挑明，说做成这次生意后，我不能拿提成，实
话实说，感觉也不太好,自己不甘心，放着好好的钱，让它给跑了。

have alternative, this is another fire burning.
Product end, lower price product popping up to compete.
