2010年的六月下旬, 在科罗拉多转了一周, 主要是赴会参加木杨组织的漂流活动, 无疑
这是今年最有趣最刺激的行程.
关于漂流本身, 我不想在本文中着墨了, 因为其中种种乐趣是无法用语言描述, 你只能
亲身去体验科州山水带给你的惊喜.
然而科州又绝不仅仅是刺激, 他又是唯美的, 恬静的, 气势磅礴的, 仅仅从画面就能感
受到的. 科州有一种啤酒, 叫做Fat Tire,你或许没有喝过,
但是或许可以感受到那味道, 科州的味道.
滑雪小镇Aspen的Maroon Bells, 有人拍过秋天黄昏的Maroon Bells, 惊艳,
但在平时, 也一样能感受到这里的祥和

发帖数: 2789 | 3 前几天觉察到前轮慢撒气，打足气不到24小时会掉一半。今天开去dealer那里做其他检
查，顺道检查tire（一开始以为是tire的某个地方被扎破了，去local店里20块钱补一
下就完了）。
刚才dealer电话告诉我说是rim上有个小crack，需要换掉，要不然还会漏气，tire倒是
一点事情没有。请问这种说法是否成立？？？我没记得车掉坑里或者碰过什么尖锐的东
西，之前开了快1000mile也没什么问题。而且一般来说有问题也是tire先被扎破才能把
车轱辘弄坏吧？
如果他骗人，就准备去complain了。

价$1800），今天高速上听到“BANG“一声响，然后Indication of a flat tire 就亮
了(红色)。看了Manual，响声应该是模拟的报警声，但是基本原因是pressure 已经很
低，要马上送到dealer哪里去检查，但看来要换了，有问题向大家请教：
(1) 在dealer那里换run flat tires,要$1800，价格合理不？有没有办法便宜些？
(2) 除了run flat tires，可以有别的便宜的选择吗？如果是普通轮胎，会影响性能吗？
车况：2007 BMW 335i, mileage 60K

recommended specifications found on the Certification Label located on the
driver's door panel. " Unfortunately there is nothing on my driver's door.
Haven't I looked for the wrong place?
Also I tried to find some information online. But nothing useful was found
at all except some body said the proper tire pressure related to your car

现在两个选择，一个是去costco换Bridgestone Insignia SE200， 总体算下来371.96.
另一个是去discount tires换米其林的Destiny，一套下来442.88，请问你更倾向哪一
个？
如果在discount tire买，我还准备买certificate，一个又要加上14，所以总共498.88
了，有点小心疼啊，不过轮胎不好开车都不放心，暂时几年估计也不会换车吧。
再请问，换了新轮胎之后，就是要隔5000mile去rotate一下对么？这个是不是也就是
firestone说的tire wheel balance？其他还需要做什么么？

挑了一家劳模店修了一些，然后回tire plus换了前轮胎
后来为了检测alignment的问题，把前轮换到后面
最近开的超过50以上，方向盘，车身都在抖，然后找tire plus，检测告知，旧的轮胎
需要balance，而且由于做了rotation的原因，旧的轮胎放到前轮，导致震动。然后想
想算了，就做了。其实车买回来时候开过60以上也没什么震动。
还有就是车的高位刹车灯不亮，检测以后要5.99修好，我修了。付钱了，结果过几天，
让朋友帮忙看，说高位刹车灯还是不亮，回去再找，告知，刹车灯是整个总成的，需要
更换整个，要168刀，我问，当初你为啥没修就收我5.99。对方称不知道，然后退款。
回来自己拆开看，发现高位刹车灯接头没有连接，自己连上，马上好了，估计是前任车
主贴膜或者干什么时候，修理工断开没连上。
现在旧的两个轮子作了balance，然后似乎又有新问题，刹车有点抖动，原来刹车根本
没这个问题。开得快40，然后快速刹车，稳稳的停下。
现在开到50以上，还是有点请问抖动，但是比以前轻多了。 |

度不同，前轮磨损较大。故决定作tire rotation。前两天在dealer service那里做了
之后，dealer说：前后轮调换了，但原后轮磨损不好，所以现在开始开车会感觉到前轮
有‘突、突、突’响声，应该不会有什么问题。
我这两天开车，是感觉到‘突、突、突’的响声从前方发出，像是前面轮胎上有哪
一个位置不正常。虽然声音不大，但在车内能感觉得到。方向盘没有震动，手松开方向
盘车子也不会偏。车子停下来之后，看轮胎也看不出有什么异常。让别人开我的车，我
站在外面看，也看不出两个前轮有明显的装歪（我的车还有wheel lock，轮胎应该是锁
紧的了）。
做tire rotation之前没有任何问题。我担心的是，长此下去，会不会致使wheel变
歪了？我需不需要现在就把轮胎给换新的，反正过半年我也差不多要换新轮胎了？

Tire alignment and tire rotation are different:
Rotation:就是调换车胎的位置（左前轮右后轮互换，右前轮左后轮互换）.
Alignment:让轮子“端正“，不偏。Alignment不好，对车胎损害很大。lifetime
alignment比较划算。 |

run-flat carries a one year manaufacture road hazzard waranty, which covers
1 year or first 2/32 tread. After 1 year or 2/32 tread, will pro-rata. They
will replace with a new tire and the waranty still apply. So in theory, if
you don't drive much, deal's tire plan might be un-necessary. |

并没有买lz说的那个保险。觉得自己小心点开就好了。但没想到有天在freeway上flat
了一只。后面把车开回店里计划补胎的时候小二说这个胎没法补，只能换新的，新的原
价是143.....他接着推荐说我其实可以花个100刀（具体金额已经不记得了）补买个
insurance，然后这个insurance不但会cover这次换胎的费用而且还会cover全部4条
tire5年。结果我就只花了100多刀把这次问题全解决了。非常划算的说。 |

removal 但是没什么改善，也用了细蜡用power tool polish，清掉了一点点，但是大

另问，我的车试subaru legency AWD的昨天去手工洗车场他发现，左后轮上了钉子，今
天去walmart他帮我拔出来了，但是没漏气，安全起见我还是想换一下
，tires只有4600miles，walmart说他没有我的tires，但是他是建议一次换四条，我是
想去网上买tires但是一定要一次换四条吗?第一次开AWD没什么概念。

and I read some article as well and second your opinion. common knowledge
believes that if the tires are balanced, they will tend to stay balance
unless they are mounted to different wheels.
Rotation should switch the tire and wheel together.
Usually, rotation plus balance cost between $25-40.
I already paid $30 for the rotation, and my tires were balanced. I think it
is reasonble for me to ask them to check the balance with no more than $10.

big difference between front and rear tire wear.
unless you have a lot of uneven wear since your last tire rotation. |

那只能说明你们的车的手册写的不够好。
我的车是subaru forester xt，手册虽然说按照门上的气压充，但是也强调需要根据气
温矫正。
这是截图（我上个回复还记错了，－10C的时候需要到38psi）
实际上冬天shipping的 forester，出厂的气压都是40psi左右。
另外，我的车的手册还说：
Driving at high speeds with exces- sively low tire pressures can cause the
tires to deform severely and to rapidly become hot. A sharp in- crease in
temperature could cause tread separation, and destruction of the tires. The
resulting loss of vehicle control could lead to an accident.
也就是说胎压过低是很危险的。 你要是不分青红皂白的按照门上充气，有可能会造成
气压不足，从而造成危险。

对于Minivan这种家庭用车来讲，东北下雪的地方，低速的情况下，比如爬坡，积雪的
路面
AWD + winter tire 〉〉 AWD 〉〉 FWD + winter tire， winter tire主要能帮助侧
滑 跟刹车距离
至于高速上面，我个人觉得除了大家提的手自一体这项以外，AWD 不仅在冬天，其他时
间，应该还是用得到的。 |

。一直定期做 rotation/balance，开了大概 21,000 miles。最近发现 tread 只剩 3/
32 了。于是去 discount tire 换胎。
我问小二能拿回多少 credit，他说每个轮胎能拿回 $22 credit。我说不对吧，我开的
mileage 一半不到，$87 只能拿回 $22？他说这是电脑根据所剩下的 tread 算出来的
。我说“如果剩下 0 tread 呢？那是不是一分钱 credit 不给？”。他想了想，就给
了我每个轮胎 $43.5 的 credit。说我赚了，这是半买半送(50% off)。
当时赶着上班，就没跟他较真。回到公司，拿出计算器算了一下。85k warranty 我开
了 21k，那应该给我 75% 的 credit 啊。再打电话去问小二，他满口答应。
尼玛，看来给多少 credit 是随意的。不较真就吃亏了。 |

厂牌的tire以后，也是默认30？每家厂牌/不同类型的tire感觉胎壁坚硬程度差别很大啊
tire上也没标standard的胎压，只有max 51一般都是，那就还按原厂30打气？我觉得有
点不靠谱啊 |
