价钱不会差太多，而且高中低端的选择多。 我去过几个点补轮胎，不管是不是他们那
里买的，小二绝对态度友好。 里面的工人都是一路小跑。 他们家的road hazard很值
，新换的一套轮胎在1年内有两个轮胎在路上被扎坏了，没办法补。二话不说立刻免费
给你换个新的。

Rft vs non rft这个问题和具体什么车有一些关系，但那不是point，就算现在我们限
定在x1 x3的轮胎上，也就是grand touring all season这个类别，在tire rack看看人
民群众打分吧
最好的non rft，像Michelin premier as, Pirelli P7 plus vs rft最好的
Bridgestone DriveGuard 和Michelin mxm4 zp，在wet, dry performance non rft更
好，snow和comfort non rft 更是超出一大截，tread wear也更好
这么说吧，同等级的non rft只会比rft强，而且还便宜的多，用的时间更长，被扎了还
能补胎，唯一缺点就是要拖车或者自己换轮胎

遇上下雨，开高速时觉得不对，方向不稳。下来一看，好家伙，DM-V2是directional
tire，店里把一个前轮装反了方向，两个前轮一正一反，这能稳吗。
开到店里，经理和工人的态度倒是很好，当时有五六辆在排队等服务，赶紧让我的车插
队，20分钟把那个胎重新装好。工人是个年轻小伙子，当时很不好意思。专门换轮胎的
店子，不应该发生这种错误的。
这次还好发现的及时，如果雨大了或遇上雨雪天，是很危险的。 |

Micheline Defender tire (through Costco). They also have lifetime rotation
and balance.
But it's good to know discount tire also does it. One more option when it's
time. |

早上去了DISCOUNT TIRE店找他们，
那个家伙开始说：你可能又在这个轮胎的同一个位置新扎进去了一个同样的钉子。
我听到后觉得这家伙真是太能狡辩了，
我说：如果是这样，你把这个轮胎上之前补胎的PATCH给我找出来。
他们没有找到，最后免费给我换了4个同样牌子的新轮胎。
看来discount tire还是靠谱的，还好昨天瘪胎不是在高速上！ |

RD后49天才到。
目前三无，连RFE都没有收到。
H1B 第一个三年8月底到期，老板钱不多了，随时准备走人，renew 要extra money，所
以都不感兴趣。正好用这个理由催EAD. 网上看到还有催EAD催绿的先例。
7月22号，我自己打给，tire 1说要等15-30天回信。
今天LD打电话，是个比较nice的tire 2 gentlemen，说等一周，没有消息的话用
confirmation # 打回去。

Tire Balance & Rotation 6千麦做一次，不仅可以避免前后/左右轮胎不均匀磨损，最
终延长轮胎寿命（特别是四驱的车子，一换换四个）；而且对高速行驶稳定性很有帮助。
当年我开没有abs的前驱dfbb的时候没感觉，除了第一年的free service,后面都是修车
的时候顺带做，开着也没有不同。现在换了车子发现这个东西真得很重要，做完以后加
速的时候平顺多了。 |

Actually, it also depends on your tire, you can find the max on it and minus
4 should be OK.
Once a time, the guage has the problem, the real pressure was 70+, the tire
is still OK. |

I would suggest 2-3psi higher than the manual to get a better mpg, but that

For some people, not necessary,they still drive their car even if they know
there is a problem.(I am not accusing anything.)
For Diy guys and/or who really cares, yes.
I have a small 12V pump in my car, and the punch kit.
So if I got a flat tire, I will repair and refill it. I don;t like the small
backup tire.
If you get a chance to visit me, I can sell you a 12V pump for a really
price. |

今天路过路过kauffman tires的时候，他们帮我测了胎压，almost full,也加了一点点
，low tire的灯还是亮的。轮胎没问题，估计要去dealer那里读灯了。他们顺便还帮我
把前车窗的洗窗水加了。全程我就坐他们大厅在那里喝咖啡玩手机。最后他们告诉我，
免费。。。
看来如果到了换轮胎的时候，一定是去他家了。
顺便问，我能随便去个mini cooper dealer那儿吗？不是一定得去买车的那个dealer吧？
