Guess it is Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). There is no known cure of this
lupus in USA. If kidneys are already involved, it is at pretty severe
stage..... Patient might need dialysis (tou4 xi1), or even kidney transplant.
For meds, corticosteroids are prescribed to supress the immune system.
Methotrexate, cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), azathioprine (Imuran), etc. But
those meds can lead to many side effects, too, because they will make the
patient vulnerable to get infected.

treat underlying diseases, hep c, alcohol, blah blah,
monitor closely for signs of encephalopathy/portal hypertension and all the
other good complications, get on a transplant list and wait for a new liver,
also, zinc 220mg every day,

My dad has had 14 years of hepatitis B. Recently he was diagnosed of liver
cancer. I'm thinking of lung transplanation for him. Does anybody know how
much it usually cost in China?
Thanks!

I don't know how much, but typically liver cancer patients
can't live long enough before a liver is available to him.
unless you have channels getting a liver fast than other
patients (like the guy did couple of years ago in the US).

unfortunately liver cancer is one of the hardest to fight.
at this stage the chance of survival is small.
liver transplant is often not possible, as there's long wait
for livers and most liver cancer patients die before one is
available.
it would certainly a big decision. for older people, being
conservative and focus on relieving pains probably is a
better choice.

cytarabine for consolidation, if you have relapse, the only choice would be

myelodysplastic syndrome with refractory anemia is often primary due to
chromosomal abnormalities, rarely it's secondary and when it is, it's often
from chemo or radiation treatment from previous leukemia/lymphoma,
the only cure i know of would be bone marrow transplant with a matched HLA
donor, it has risk to progress to acute leukemia, and is often refractory to
commonly used chemos,

for acute granulocyte leukemia, it is curable with vitamine A.
others will be treated best with bone marrow transplantation

Single lesion < 5 cm without metastasis, the best treatment is liver
transplant, with a 5yr survival > 70%. If metastasis already occurred,
complete recovery is difficult. A new drug Sorafenib can extend median
survival by 12 wk.

Hepatitis b treatment depends on the stage of disease. Newly infected
patients are treated with anti-HBV immunoglobulin. Chronic infection
treatment depends on severity of liver damage. If minimal liver injury and
viral titer is low, patient is usually monitored. If infection is more
active, interferon alpha as well as several reverse transcriptase inhibitor
can be used (such as Iamiudine, adefovir, entecavir). In severe cirrhosis,

Sorry to hear the bad news. Non hogkins's lymphoma is a malignant tumor of
human lymphocytes. General treatments include radiotherapy, chemotherapy,
bone marrow or stem cell transplantation, or combined therapies. Prognosis
is dependent on specific stages and some other factors. It is not as bad as
cancers of liver, lung, etc, but much worse than those slow-progressing
cancers such as breast, prostate cancers...
So find a good hospital and start the treatment as soon as they can.

if the unilateral agenesis is discovered earlier then more options are

Excessive fluid accumulation or infected cysts need to be treated

The treatment is surgery + chemotherapy. The most important thing is to

I am sure they are using that in Beijing. If surgery can not resect all
