本来上周末想跑一个turkey trot 5K的，结果前一天晚上happy hour喝了不少，就主动

发帖数: 113 | 2 Boston之后的一次骨折意外，造成一直没有正规训练过。现在一周也就10-15迈左右，
最长的一次大概6迈。因为没有base,所以也没有什么speed run。
为了准备这次Turkey Trot（5迈），提前4天模拟了一下。结果没到3迈hamstring就有
拉伤的感觉，草草的结束那次跑步。虽然拉伤很小，心里确实有些忐忑不安。因为那次模拟我可是按照8分钟每迈的速度跑的，就比平时快了少许。所以比赛前决定底线是45分钟，跑进40
分是良好，跑进38分就是优秀了。
比赛当天气温合适，大概30度，无风，有太阳。5迈和2迈总共只有360多人，所以也不
是很拥挤。因为是乡下地方，没有chip，（后来发现连mile marker 都没有）。出发前
发现手表的电池不行了，显示的数字忽隐忽现，索性就全程没有计时。
一出发就一个拐弯，周围全是人。我大概是7分半的速度。然后马上是个上坡，过了坡
我就很清楚周围人的水平，那些步子大而慢的或者喘得很厉害的肯定保持不了节奏，而
我还是很轻松的。很快我就决定跟一个看上去50多的穿背心短裤的人跑。
一路都是上下坡，其间不断超过逐渐慢下来的人，但因为没有marker， |

Rank: 2nd place in age group 30-39，9/734 overall，8th in gender group。
参加这个race的目的很多，
1. 庆祝节日，兼LD抵美4年整。
2. 检验一下“在经过长距离的比赛和训练后（半马），中短距离的成绩也能相应提高
”的猜测。
3. 检验一下马拉松两周训练的效果，并以6M race替代计划中的30 min tempo。
4. 为了赚取版主预测比赛时间的包子。
Post race，前三个目的都达到了，第四个就miss了。自己的预测时间还是太保守啦，
早知道天气会很冷，不知道自己能跑这么快。如果有人在读完report之后觉得值包子，
本人也不拒绝啦，哈哈。

发帖数: 10018 | 10 9月底的马拉松之后练了7周的low HR，一直都是easy run，最近一周才加了点
Marathon pace run。中间还一直被heel pain, pulled calf muscle和blister轮
番困扰。上星期看到Turkey Trot的广告，终于忍不住了。在5k和10k之间，我选择
了从来没有跑过的5k race。
早上6点半起来，才37F，去年也没有这么冷过。穿了件长袖，磨磨蹭蹭地出门了。
跑了2迈热身，感觉没那么冷了。时间刚刚好，离开跑还有10分钟，我就站在起跑
线上了。开跑前问了一下身后的西裔小伙子，what time are you going to run，
他反问，how many miles is 5k? 我说3.1迈。他想了想，回答说maybe 16
minutes。靠，我知趣地躲到他身后去了。这是我的第一次5k，之前也没什么
speedwork，我也不知道能跑多快。也许6:00/mi是个目标吧。心率计也不带了，
time to have fun。
一开跑，有点下坡，大家就像脱缰的野马那样往前冲，我还想跟着第二集团的五个

发帖数: 4354 | 11 本地很popular的Thanksgiving Turkey Trot。一般是5迈，气氛很好，其乐融融。我隔一两年跑一次。就是个Tune up race，简单报告一下，不用给包子了，呵呵。
基本按8分pace的10K effort跑的，没有push到头，chip time给的pace是8:01。最后跑下来总时间36:19，course看起来短了，4 mile牌子出来的地方305测的只有3.5miles，终点305测的是4.54 miles，official result的pace也是和这个长度符合。
看起来如果好好taper跑个10k应该比上次49:39成绩要好些。两周后半马估计可以跑sub 1:50，8:24 pace。再快按今天的感觉好像不太可能了。

1st mile, 7:42.77, 平均心率178, 最大心率187
2nd mile, 8:09.52，平均心率187，最大心率189
3rd mile, 7:59.93，平均心率190，最大心率193

的。
强调科学训练是对的，但是并不代表所有跑死的人都是不科学的人，都是有身体隐患的
人。
我不觉得jingcai的帖子和讨论有什么不恰当的。

上周经过邻镇的旧机场，发现竖起一块新牌子：周日Horse Show。向朋友打听，说是有
马术、赛马，还有小孩骑马。我看过不少赛马电影，还没看过真的马赛，于是第二天兴
冲冲地跑去看新鲜。
天很帮忙，阴有小雨，一扫酷热，马儿们不至于跑到中暑。Horse Show说是八点开始，
我十一点才到，担心会不会结束，卖门票的大爷一哂说早着呢，要开一整天，下午四五
点才完。参观费三元，附赠小手册；小孩免票。
里面有两个场地：一个没跨栏，马主人牵马、走马、带马小跑或驾马车，基本是比马而
不比人；另一个有跨栏，比的好像是英式马术，从走马（walk）、慢跑（trot）、小跑
（canter）到跨栏（jump）。骑马者都戴头盔，穿笔挺的骑士服、紧身裤和高筒马靴，
英姿飒爽。

发帖数: 4527 | 23 早上起床后还在纠结是否去跑这个race。想去是因为这将是第一次跑trail，犹豫则因为
现在不在race的状态，还处在马拉松后的恢复中。后来决定去参加，不能辜负了这阳光
，同时也缅怀一下去年的turkey trot。
不过出门的时候又犹豫了一下，31F，太冷了。而且我打算比赛的装备是短袖短裤，没
带长袖。后来热身跑到起点，交钱拿号是在体育馆里，温暖多了。
比赛开始的时候又是canon开火，真过瘾。出发是下坡，大家一窝蜂的冲出去，然后转
上坡，进入trail。由于冷，我一直使劲跑，保持在队伍的前列，最后以第5名完成，时
间26:25。不过GPS纪录的距离才不到4迈，应该是trail中间的很多转弯太sharp，GPS来
不及update。平时跑trail的时候，感觉纪录的距离也偏短。
装备：
鞋：今天穿了brooks Mach 11，平时跑trail的感觉不错。但是，今天比赛的时候发生
过好几次打滑的现象，尤其是踩到叶子上时。这个鞋感觉跑5K和10K将是利器，感觉会
让我的5K跑的比今年九月份时还快。

所以现在选比赛之能选水库，就这样都不知道what to expect。。。
你的计划更丰富，真全面。
我现在基本上一年只跑两个10K,一个是公司赞助的silicon valley turkey trot，一个
是new year days 10K
发现比赛不敢跑多，影响整体训练。。。比如去年的turkey trot是在CIM前十天，为了
保证全马，我那个10K跑的忒舒服了，都快睡着了。。。然后12月5日跑CIM，接着恢复
了一个月没怎么跑所以1月1日的新年跑10K又没跑出状态。。。到现在我的10K PR Pace
都和我full marathon pace差不多，比较离铺 |
