因，虽然至今仍众说纷纭，但凭我的理性与感性的认识，觉得英国经济学家凯恩斯的解
释最为合理，即：市场对商品总需求的減少，是经济衰退的主要原因。
记得五六十年代，中国的中小学课本里有不少关于那次大萧条的描述，比如：一方面，
资本家把生产过剩的牛奶倒进河里，把密西西比河变成银河，加拿大小麦生产过剩，当
作燃料烧掉，而另一面：失业工人在救济食品站前大排长龙，生活在贫民窟的黑人小孩
汤姆冻得索索发抖......总之，一个个煽情镜头给人们的画外音，无非是：资本主义万
恶，“帝国主义正在一天天烂下去”，整个西方世界开始走向穷途末路。
可怜见地，直到今天，持这种观点的，居然还是大有人在。
然而，事实恰恰相反。80年前正蓬勃兴旺，并影响了中国命运的USSR苏维埃联盟，以及
二战后崛起的东欧社会主义大家庭，不过半个世纪的短命，如今都已成了历史的陈迹。
