were
previously, it rains 3/4 of the year; where I am now, it rains 1/3-1/2
time
of the year. And both are very windy while raining. =P
I normally wear waterproof jacket and waterproof overtrousers if it is
raining. I don't wear cycling specific ones those. Instead I use those
designed for hiking. Many well-established outdoor brands, such as TNF,
Mountain Hardware, Panagonia etc., have their own waterproof materials.

1. trying to fix a wet basement.
2. and there is no foot traffic.
If the seepage on your basement wall is not so well below ground, one of the
things you can try is,
1. Dig up along the basement wall to the depth where the seepage occurs.
Make the drench 4' wide.
2. Waterproof the exterior wall, I'll just use the stuff sold in HD or Lowes
for such purpose. (Man, the stuff they carry changed a lot over last 20

到下面车库。请问用什么材料修补比较好？去了homedepot,找到有2个有可能的选择，
UGL Latex Base Masonry waterproofer 1 gallon (gray or white color)和behr
interior/exterior concrete & Masonry waterproofer 1 gallon,但不能肯定这2种
waterproofer能不能堵住这条裂缝的渗水。不知有没有什么关于补裂缝堵漏材料方面的建议。我原来用super glue胶了2层，好一些，但还是有点漏。望各位达人指教。万分感谢！ |

于是把地毯换成了瓷砖地面
接下来又发生了2次小规模的
于是在2011年下决心花了>10K装了一个waterproof system
sump pump只是其中的一部分
至今就没发生过什么情况了
这个waterproof system还有个transferable warranty（all 4 walls & floor）
请问您是否听说过，或者熟悉这个waterproof system？
这个2004年flood过的房子还值得考虑么？
发现买房真要多做功课啊！

就是婴儿配方奶粉了. 因为一直决定母乳喂养，这个research作得最少. 只知道好几种
畅销品牌，比如similac，Enfamil，nestle，gerber，etc. 其实各种牌子，差别应该
不大，都是按指标配出来的么. 每种牌子还有不同的细类. 可能还分不同的stage，给
年龄不一的小宝吃.
奶粉先不买呢. 去它们厂家的网站注册，会收到样品. 医院应该也有样品. 够用一阵子
了. Research我以后用得着再作吧. 现在能懒一点是一点拉.
不过记得从哪儿看来过一条有用信息，说是一个宝宝本来喝similac的，后来便秘拉，
换Enfamil就好了. 所以我暂时倾向Enfamil现在.
VI．Diapers and related:
1．Diapers:
纸尿裤是也. 不同大小的宝宝用不同size的尿裤: newborn，1，1-2，3，4,…每种尿裤
都标明了适用于多重的宝宝. Newborn的是给刚出生的宝宝用的,比别的size都贵.一般
医院会送一些.然后看不同宝宝的长势需要几十到100多片不等. 尽管1号的也可以给新

）。而我所在的地方一年至少半年是风雨交加。所以waterproof jacket, waterproof
pants, raincover for pannier bag是必备用品。正好我有时候也去hiking所以就正好
可以通用了。而且waterproof jacket也可以作为平时的外套使用（我上班的地方不需
要正装）。
一年中，有那么三五天凄风苦雨的日子，我会希望有车，剩下的时候都还成。 |

，靠谱的材料可以做到防水防风而又透气，还很轻薄。。。
我们这里今天大风雨，我就穿了个普通的平时爬山用的waterproof jacket和
overtrouser。真的没淋湿，也没有闷一身汗。
有的东西，还真不是装。专业的就是不一样。这个用过了就知道了。美国这类东西买了
不合适也可以退。你可以试试再说。
flbufl同学买的那个套衣服是Gore Bike Wear的。他家的母公司是专门做waterproof/
breathable fabric起家的。无论什么品牌，只要用Gore-Tex的材料，都要付给他们专
利费的。这方面，户外版的人比车版的熟。 |

materials. Gore-tex is a type of waterproof fabric which was patented by
Gore. Yet it is not the only one out there. There are quite a few waterproof
and breathable fabric, e.g. eVent, HyVent, etc. Gore-tex itself has many
different variations, such as active shell, pro shell etc. Each fabric has
its own pro and con. |

. When it rains, it is always windy.
Get some GOOD QUALITY waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers. I use the
ones for hiking as I go hiking from time to time too. But you can also the
ones designed for cycling.
I keep a spare pair of shoes and socks at work. Otherwise you can get
waterproof overshoes too. |

第一次Landing – Argentina Island
今天是我们本次cruise的第一次landing，预计时间是下午3点。听到Excursion leader
Gram队长宣布我们能按按计划landing的消息的时候，我觉得我的sea sick就好了，呵
呵。赶文同学严重怀疑我前些天在装病~~
午饭过后我们就兴奋的穿好行头去bridge看航行状况了。大家都兴奋的在甲板上等待着
landing。
赶文同学偷拍人家
说到我们的行头，有一些经验跟大家分享一下。首先是一定要有一条waterproof的裤子
，最好还有一件waterproof，windproof的jacket，因为南极cruise的landing都是wet
landing，也就是说我们都要从ship的gangway下去，乘坐Zodiac到岸边，然后在靠近岸
边的岩石附近下船。所以一定是衣服裤子都要浸水的。
赶文和我都准备好了很好的waterproof裤子和鞋子，可惜我们的衣服差了点儿。幸好船
上有备用的，虽说size都很大，套在我们的jacket外面正好合适，而且是我喜欢的红色
！帽子手套围巾 |

发帖数: 396 | 48 我的建议是身上不要用防水的，现在我用的只有露得清Neutrogrna的 SPF30的没有
waterproof，其他的还没见过非waterproof的，尤其是spray，一定waterproof。这种
的浴液就够了。
其实大家都知道SPF只是时间问题，SPF1=10-15分钟，SPF30=300-450分钟。相应的，
SPF50=500-750分钟。所以我用30的，常常补。
当然如果有了防水的，也没关系，多冲一会儿，用浴液，北方人知道什么是搓澡的，搓
一下。
但一定记住，脖子要当作练的一部分来对待，好好卸。
最后一点，防晒霜不要用去年打开的，要用当年的。 |
