（1）半个小时的discussion: why do we need to write? what does good writing
look like? what is preventing you to do so?
(2)半个小时的Exercise: write a paragraph on.....
准备引导的重点是：writing ABC
A: audience
B: just begin to write
C: clarity
我调整教案的原因是：我真的不知道为什么我的儿子写个东西这么难？！
基因论者说：写作好的人天生就会写。他写个东西这么难， 说明他就没有这个基因。

c1 用于记录当下多少个 read 的 thread
c2用于 handle write的操作
c2有两个值0, 1
c2 = 0表示当前没有 thread 要 write
c2 = 1表示当前有 thread 想 要 write，那么这个时候想要读的thread必须 wait
当c1变成0后，也就是所有的 read threads release了这个 lock以后，那个设置 c2
为 1的 write线程就可以write了，write 完了以后就把 c2设置为0 |

sample 虽然是给lawyer们看的，但此"legal writing" 非彼legal writing. 主动语态
想掉是谁做的，被动语态强调怎么做的。我个人认为tech writing 根本上还是
scientific writing，强调怎么做，楼主可以去搜一些 US patent 读一读.当然，最确
切的答案还是case by case的，如果楼主的writing sample里某一句话就是想强调“我
”做了什么什么，那就还是要用主动语态了。

然后觉得应该请一个writing tutor，这一年就好好的练练。
就在自己的校友网发了个告示，然后应者还比较多，选了几个看上去觉得比较靠普的聊
了几下，现在还做决定，有点难决定，毕竟是头次请writing tuor..
A。写了几本小说。觉得对文字语言组织挺不错。住在同个town.
B。专业的writing tutor. 但是不是在同个town,只能是通过电话或是视频，或是
google document进行互动。
C。专业的grant writer. 住在同个town,而且收费是A或B的一半。
D。有我需要的专业背景,平常做开consulting..但是不是同个town.
哎，请这种writing tuor,一般要看什么？ 我是真的觉得自己的写作必须提高，但是不
知道该如何提高。反正看了各种写作书也不少，就是没有成功应用过。
有点决定不下，所以上来问一下。
各位给点意见。谢谢 |

result of reading and listening. Reading academic materials gets you
acquainted with the forms and expressions required for such writings.
Secondly you should keep practicing writing. Even an experienced writer
benefits from revisions. What you learned from reading will gradually reflect
in your writing skills. Exercise your patience but keep trying. :)

看到大家都在测速度，我也试了一下，结果发现很悲剧，尤其是写速度。
想起来拿到机器后曾经按照网上文章说的把write cache disable了，怀疑是否是这个
原因引起的，于是就把write cache 又打开了，结果发现确实速度有提高，虽然还不是
很满意。
网上文章说“There is no cache on the SSD, so there are no benefits to write
caching”，难道是错误的？大家write cache 到底是开还是关？对SSD寿命有影响吗？
此外如果哪位能提供建议再进一步提高SSD性能，验证后有效的话有包子馈赠。 |

D.E.Shaw应该不会要看legal writing document吧
另外，writing sample要的就是你写的东西，如果是别人给你的template，或者是别人
修饰过的，就不是你的writing sample了。
至于怎么选择你的writing sample，最好直接问你的公司，你可以让他们给你举几个例

I have a hard time with my resume. I just have some part-time, low
technical jobs while I am in college,such as, teacher, sales and 2-month
book-keeper.I sale shoes in a small shoe store. I am not sure if I should
write these jobs on my resume. I am afraid if I write it in my resume, it
will make others think that I just can do these low technical jobs. It's not
