Just think about the enzyme responsible for the DNA replication in this
bacteria strain.
The last example is Taq.

The discovery is far from revolutionary in term of biology dogma. But these
enzymes for Arsenic utilization could be extremely useful in research labs
and for pharmaceutical development.
Microbiology is probably the only branch in biology, which can support
itself research financially.
A long while ago, the biotech center in one mainland university was selling
the selected strains for making Tofu and other foods to generate enough
revenue. Old memories.
