the world. Even when I was in high school, my PE teacher motivated us by
telling us how the Japanese are into endurance sports.

中国还没这环境。。。中国现在跑马的人都极少。。。

Japan. My uncle who lives in Hunan rides a nice road bike (better than mine)
with his buddies and has access to bike trails with good condition. Most
Japanese runners train on the roads and concrete sidewalks, or school tracks
. I have no idea where they'd be training on the bike.
