发帖数: 972 | 1 Lucky以前流浪的时候身上就很多结痂，就是那种皮肤破了后结的那种，每个都很小，
大约2-3毫米直径，但是从脖子到皮肤上分布了很多。它做绝育的时候的vet的诊断是
cat fight的结果，也没给任何治疗方案。
到了我家后，我的vet认为是allergy导致的，初步认为是dermatitis。因为cat fight
wound不会全身都是。但具体什么导致的allergy不确定。她一开始认为是flea，所以开
了revolution，并且开始吃antibiotics，搞了三周，结痂倒是都没了。
停药后不到一个月有复发的趋势，一开始我觉得也不是大问题，最近结痂的数量越来越
多，而且我观察它groom的时候会很用力的去舔、咬、抓有结痂的地方。昨天导致有一
块的毛都秃了。今天带去看vet，vet给打了针，让继续吃antibiotics，一周后复诊。
同时vet认为是食物过敏（蛋白质）。因为我给吃的都是weruva polynesian BBQ （鱼
肉罐头）。Maru只吃这个，所以我家都是这种。Lucky刚来我家的时候一天能吃8 oz的
罐头。最近一个月不太吃罐头了，不知道是不是确实不喜欢、肠... 阅读全帖 |

打了针（antibiotics，antivomitting，和补充水分）。开了药（deworming，
antibiotics，antivomitting）。
回来看着好一些。但有一顿药喂迟了，又吐了一次。
现在我心里还七上八下的，不知道是不是治标不治本，不吐是不是被antivomitting的
药强行压制着。

One of my cats had loose stool for three weeks, to the point that i had to
get up 3am, 5am etc. wait for his watery poo (I can hear him going) and
clean his feet so we don't sleep with cat poo.
Took him to the vet with stool sample, vet thinks he is super healthy, no
fever, but prescribed antibiotics. I tried pumpkin, plain boiled chicken,
slippery elm bark, probiotics. Not sure which worked, i am guessing the

I wonder if bingbing does have a bacterial infection, which causes the fever
and diarrhea, but slow to respond or unresponsive to the specific type of

The macrophages and inflammation is still consistent with bacterial
infection?
I am sure the docs know more but it doesnt hurt to ask since they can
overlook things? |

时咪宝还是能动的，就是非常的痛，所以我摸她后腿，尤其是关节，她还是会缩。小花
貌似右后腿完全没感觉了……
不知道现在如何。我没找到咪宝的全部用药记录，应该就是一般光谱抗生素。
把咪宝的诊断给你看看，等到专家看到她的时候，她已经几乎痊愈了，所以所谓的神经

点痛， 或者不舒服， 就会这样子。 你可以仔细找找， 看看有没有地方有那种比针头
还小的孔。 或者我建议你可以涂点人用的那种antibiotic 的软膏。 是over counter
的。 就是黄色和白色的， triple antibiotic。 不过涂过后， 要抱着一会， 等10个
分钟， 然后擦掉后再让她走。
我这样的处理方式只是给你家里用用， 如果真的有大的发炎， 你可以考虑给吃的药。 |

真清洗（可以然后再用酒精洗洗），然后给了我一个first aid包里的普通antibiotic
的软膏抹上，然后当天（十几个小时内）认真观察变化，要是肿起来了或者麻涨痛感增
强扩散就赶快去就医，如果没变化那就ok了注意清洁，再涂一天那个antibiotic软膏就
慢慢愈合就好。 |

还打喷嚏。。。
当时给问breeder，说可以用Terramycin (eye drops， they usually only sell that
at Feed stores not regular pet shops)
我没有买到，所以买了个Vetericyn Eye wash（Vetericyn有很多不同名字的wash，不
过成分都一样，我买的是wound wash），每天洗眼睛，但是很不管用，持续了半个星期
，终于带去了vet。。。
Vet说是上呼吸道感染，给扎了Antibiotics，开了个eye ointment: Neomycin and
Polymyxin B Sulfates and Bacitracin Zinc Ophthalmic Ointment USP (Bausch &
Lomb)，这么长的名字，完全不知道是什么，大概是个antibiotic eye ointment。。。
后来终于好了，不过扁脸还是天天流眼泪，各种擦眼睛啊。。。 |

诊所，一般会便宜一点，如果真的承受不了，认真考虑给猫找个好主人吧。
临时应急的话，可以买topical antibiotic ointment比如triple antibiotic擦在伤口
上 |

听说，人生最悲剧的就是放弃了不该放弃的，坚持了不该坚持的。
博士毕业了，我也离开了化学这一行。我觉得有些事，不是我们这一行的人很难理解，
所以把一些多余的话写出来，纪念一下似水流年。回过头来我觉得我们这些人都可以说
，我这一生最好的几年都是在hood里度过的，所以似乎也应该写下来。
我对化学，似乎有一些家庭渊源。我的父亲是做化工的，母亲也曾在化学实验室里工作
。小的时候就经常到我母亲工作的地方去，看到玻璃的瓶瓶罐罐，还是颇有神秘感的。
作为小朋友，现在想，我对科学的热情还是很高的，小学生的时候就在家里电解盐水（
可不是PS上的胡扯）。本科的时候也不知道怎么弄的，最后学了化学。应该说我对
quantitative的东西应该更擅长一些，本科时，物化的成绩一直比有机要好，但是因为

from life tech (15240-112). This is the most potent antibiotics I have used
so far and nothing grows in my culture even if I stick my finger in it. So,
maybe worth trying in your case?
As for the incubators, autoclave all the stuff and change new batches of
cells..... that's all you can do..sorry. |

bacterials and the lysins.
The most important thing is that you need find something novel, I mean there
is no traditional antibiotics for particular bacterial, such as MRSA, or
superior. For example, most small chemical antibiotics have some kind of
side effects. For a protein, if it has specific degrading enzyme activity
toward bacterial cell wall, the only concern I can think of is
immunotoxicity. |

1) A drug-resistant strain of bacteria is simply drug-resistent -
doesn't mean it is more purulent. It is a legitimate fear that someday

However, no such bacteria have emerged yet because we have developed
more than a dozen classes of antibiotics, including hundreds of drugs in

TYLENOL。 过了下温度降了下来到97.7， 8点测升到99， 9点测103，马上送到
EMERGENCY。 医生开始插尿管，抽血，上IV。可怜宝宝才2个多月，抽什么都不顺利，
每个都搞了10多次，宝宝哭得都没有声音了。转到医院后，尿测出来了，URINE
INFECTION， 还在等血检查结果， 如果不正常，还要抽脊柱液检查。明天ULTRASOUND
看器官正常不。生娃的时候受了点苦，以为那就是很痛苦的事情了，其实，那才是个开
始而已。接下来还有那么都担心的事情。
医生一直说，我及时送EMERGENCY是非常正确的事情。希望所有宝宝们都健康，万一发
烧，也要及时送医院。求大家祝福宝宝血检查正常，快点好起来。

very high with left shift, then consider bacterial infection and then add
antibiotics. But if CBC do not show any sign of bacterial infection, then
consider virus infection and go ahead with LP.
The case usually give out the very obvious result and clinical symptoms plus
signs for us to differentiate the bacteria or virus infection.
They do not want us to give antibiotics without any thought. |

很感兴趣的，想学些东西。
我和一些同事Float到Tele Floor好几次，都觉得要比Med Surg Floor轻松一些。不知
是不是因为照顾到我们是Float Nurses，给了我们容易的病人。我是在CA做Night
Shift，Med Surg的护患比例是1：5，Tele是1：4。很多Med Surg病人需要Pain Meds
Q2h，然后Anti-Nausea Meds Q4h，还要上Multiple Antibiotics Q6h-8h，再加上
Blood Sugar Checks，腿都要跑断了。并且有些术后病人因有Cardiac History，也会
上Remote Tele但住在Med Surg Floor，所以有时我们会管4个nonTele和一个Tele，当
然这些Tele病人都是情况相对稳定的。
在我Float到Tele Floor的那几次，我发现那里的病人很少要Pain Meds，Anti-Nausea
Meds，或各种各样的Antibiotics，甚至IV Fluid。一般 |
