Actually justice was rare in US until very recently. Kennedy evoked the
conscience of this country, and Reagan led this really very evil country to
a sense of the world moral leader.
Before that, whites killed millions indians withour a piece of regret,
slaved blacks for hundred years, used Chinese railway labours and then
fosficated their property without compensation, and drove Japs into camps in
War II.

A United Nations panel has urged Japan to take stronger measures to
eliminate gender inequality.
The Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women said the
country's efforts were "insufficient".
It pointed to unequal laws on marriage, the treatment of women in the labour
