报告称，不足的有形资本——包括机器、设备、基础设施和建筑等是加拿大生产力在过去25年来落后的部门原因。
会议局调查部负责人Alan Arcand称，过去25年缓慢的生产率增长不能归咎于劳动力，实际上自从1961年以来加拿大劳动力质量一直在稳步提高。
在20世纪60和70年代迅速增强的资本强度实际上在1983年以后就开始变得减弱。Arcand称，“根本上来讲，我们对有形资本投资不够。”

五名外劳去年12月24日在多伦多一栋公寓修缮阳台时，他们乘坐的工作吊台断裂，五人从13层楼高的地方摔下，其中四人死亡，一人两腿骨折、脊椎折断。
经过数月调查之后，安河劳工厅发言人布莱洁(Matt Blajer)说，两家公司13日遭安河劳工厅依法控罪，总共被控61项罪名，最高可能被罚款1700万元。
安河劳工厅依据「职业健康暨安全法令」(Occupational Health and Safety Act)，提控麦川建筑公司(Metron Construction Corp)30项罪名，该公司的经理及总监还分别面临16项及八项控罪。

这次集会组织者希望透过类似集会，能够把保障雇员的工作职位问题，推升成为下次联邦大选的主题之一。
数千名示威者29日聚集在咸美顿市中心的市政厅前面，呼吁总理哈珀领导的保守党政府出手干预，结束美国钢铁厂的锁厂行为;他们还呼吁政府采取措施保障加拿大的就业及退休金。示威者指责加拿大政府袒护外国公司，而置本国工人的利益于不顾。

一位朋友去年一家移民加拿大。其实，他家早就该登陆了，只是舍不得国内的工作，一拖再拖，眼看期限已近，在最后三个月，他们终于来到了加拿大。
昨天见面，我很想听听这一年来她的感受。我已想好一大堆话等着应和她。结果让我大失所望，大感意外。她的情绪很低，她甚至有想回国的打算。我问：孩子在学校不愉快?她说，孩子很喜欢这里。老公事业不顺?她说，老公基本没有语言障碍，生物博士，现在药品研究机构。我又问，那就是他有外遇了?我想只有这三件事的其中一样出现，才会让人心情不舒畅。她笑了笑：他一天忙到晚，那有时间去外遇。然后叹口气说：唉，可能是我自寻烦恼吧。最后朋友说出了理由：“受不了中国人的欺负。”我真是哭笑不得，但细想，这的的确确让人心烦意乱，心感郁闷，我想大多数新移民或多或少都体会过。我自己就有亲身经历，只是我这人没心没肺，事后忘得快而已。在外国受自己人欺负，这也算是中国特色吧。

鄙人是在大上海飘荡的剩女一枚，已经28了，近来发觉形势愈发严峻。据说上海的剩女严重程度是全国之最，本人身边的情况发现：大量优质剩女没有出嫁，出去单身活动男女比例7:3.一些歪瓜裂枣的男人，会对比他条件好的多的女人挑挑拣拣。实在受不了这种状况。
我身边的姐妹都是下嫁的，婚后物质水平消费能力急剧下降。这样下去，我知道自己的未来也不会好的哪里去。因此萌生了出国的念头，找老公是最大的根源，顺便为自己求个绿卡和安逸生活（更新鲜的空气、下一代的安逸生活和有院子的house）。
本人的职业情况是：
本科排名10-15位的大学，毕业后在外企500强市场部初级职员工作3年，之后在一美国4a广告公司任职高级客户经理，目前年薪税前20万；职业正进入一个高速发展期，有信心在两三年拿到年薪3-50万。同时跟朋友有个小生意投资，年入15万左右；不太耗精力，如果好好做的话，可能会发财。
这么多年一直用英语工作，雅思有信心考7分以上。
婚恋情况是：
长相中上，性格不错，家务能力中上。

周建说，如果可以重新选择，他不会移民加拿大。
如果当初没有移民，周建不会辞去月薪近4万的工作，不会生二胎，不会卖掉北京的房子，更重要的是，不会在30多岁时就离婚，也不会一步步从中产阶层滑落。
然而，生命是一场无法回放的绝版电影。蓦然回首，一个个镜头从光影中渐次掠过，却再也回不到当初。
移民
移民那一年，周建31岁。尽管才30出头，周建已经早早地跻身中产阶层。大学毕业后，他一直在北京做医药销售经理，出国前最差的时候一个月也能赚4万元。
2006年，北京的房价还很便宜，周建和妻子先后买了两套房，一套位于市区，另一套位于南四环和南五环之间的旧宫。
周建坦言自己当时的自信心爆棚，弟弟缺钱时，经常一给就是上万，那时他绝对没想到，有朝一日需要弟弟来接济自己。周建和妻子偶尔也有摩擦，但互相忍让下就过去了。

化的病态日渐严重。一般人从大众传媒学到的，不仅是流行的观念，还有那些观念赖以
包装的种种说法；有时，那些说法连高明之士也抗拒不了。今日的中文虽因地区不同而
互见差异，但共同的趋势都是繁琐与生硬，例如中文本来是说「因此」，现在不少人却
爱说「基于这个原因」；本来是说「问题很多」，现在不少人却爱说「有很多问题存在

An excavation company paid a heavy price yesterday for allowing a
dangerously overloaded truck to travel down one of the Illawarra's steepest
and busiest roads.
Even with a good measure of leniency, Cane Excavation Pty Ltd copped a $30,
000 fine for a breach of Roads and Traffic regulations.
The truck, which was ordered off Mt Ousley Rd after detection, was carrying
an 18-tonne excavator, an overload of 76 per cent.

Integration Policy Index，简称MIPEX）。加拿大在移民教育方面的努力，令其在新

挪威警方表示，1名挪威歹徒今天在首都奧斯陸政府辦公區引爆炸彈。之後扮成
警察，到附近烏托亞島（Utoya）1個執政黨的青年營開槍掃射。
根據路透社，槍擊案的死亡人數已來到至少80人。奧斯陸政府辦公區的爆炸則造
成至少7死。
挪威代理警察總長史朋海姆（Sveinung Sponheim）說，1名男子在槍擊案中落網
。該男子在爆炸發生前也曾現身奧斯陸。
挪威國營電視台NRK報導，落網男子為32歲的布列維克（Anders Behring
Breivik）。NRK與其他挪威媒體也紛紛張貼這名金髮碧眼挪威男子的照片。
警方未立即說明奧斯陸炸彈攻擊事件與烏托亞島槍案的間隔時間。但爆炸發生兩

At least 84 people died when a gunman opened fire at an island youth camp in
Norway, hours after a deadly bombing in the capital, Oslo, police say.
