爬这几个山头是年初就和山友T计划好的，因为T的工作性质，请假必须提前好几个月通
知，我们就把日子定在奥运开幕前的那个周末。至于到时候天气如何，只能撞大运了，
反正爬山本来就是靠天吃饭，三天之后的气象预报就不怎么靠谱，索性来个拣日不如撞
日。行程如下：
周四早退数小时，和T汇合后开车至South Colony Lake Upper TH，步行约三迈半到
South Colony Lake，在11,500’左右扎营。
周五从Red Gully上Crestone Peak，然后 traverse到Crestone Needle；

发帖数: 265 | 14 一直以为kerry park很大，前几天过去的时候，才发现就那么一小块地。不过景色还是
很不错的。可以看到Rainier 和 space needle.
在kerry park远观完sapce needle,打算去space needle顶层参观一下，谁知排队的人
那么多，于是我们打了退堂鼓。不过总觉得来了西雅图，没有去space needle顶层参观
会留下遗憾，所以我们打算下次找节日的时候去space needle顶层的sky city
restaurant 吃饭的时候再欣赏西雅图的风景。
这是在space needle底下拍的一张图。space needle旁边还有个EMP Museum.不过我对
摇滚乐不感兴趣，所以就没进去了。

上次说到 PENTAX 1975 年发布的第一批 K 卡口单反三架马车, 就是 K2, KX, KM, 其
中老大是K2. 这次讲的 KX 一般认为是老二, 其实这种说法也不一定准确. K2 是电子
快门带自动档的机器, KX 是全机械机器, 虽说从曝光模式上讲 K2 多点, 但是从性能
上讲 KX 并不落后于 K2, 两者并不是一条路子的机器, 不大好直接比, 就象说 NIKON
的 FE 一定比 FM 先进高档或者 FE2 一定比 FM2 高级一样并不妥当.

西雅图我已经是第三次来了，以后估计还得来几回，一直想在Olympics里做
backpacking，但还没有机会。这次匆忙，也就逛了water front，pike's market和
space needle。
长周末已经开始，space needle下放眼望去，到处都是游人，老美也属于爱凑热闹的。
Space Needle
这次旅行的一个亮点是在space needle下竟然偶遇我一多年未见的交大同学，我上一回
见她时，她才刚刚养好儿子，现在儿子已经活蹦乱跳的会叫我阿姨了。他们一家从
portland开车来西雅图，竟然让我在needle下碰上了，真是有缘千里来相会啊！一顿开
聊，意犹未尽，互换电话，以后再好好联系。
Memorial day，needles下开music festival，有各种各样的booth。我们没事，顺着
booth一个个逛下来，玩了游戏，也拿到不少奖品。
吹萨克斯风的老人
印地安乐队，我很喜欢这个乐队，各个喜气洋洋的，演奏的也都是非常欢快的曲目，最
近心情不好，看看他们演奏能暂时忘掉些烦恼。
还有踢hacky sack的青年，脚头的功夫十分 |

关于自己打针，我上个cycle也因老公出差，被逼无奈勇敢的给自己打了几针。 我到
youtube上查到给自己打PIO的video，大受鼓励，效仿之，不是不可行的。
我在做ET时叫护士在我PP上用Marker画了两个打针的区域，这样可以避免视觉判断错误。
还有是针的大小： Use an 18 gauge needle to draw up the PIO, & a 22 gauge
needle to inject. (remember, the smaller the number on a needle, the larger
it is; the bigger the number, the smaller the needle) The bigger needle
makes for easier drawing up , & the smaller needle.......well, you get the
idea there! : |

诊断治疗好呢？美国还是中国？
我现在洛杉矶， 现有保险是HMO，可是保险规定的医院非要我先做needle biopsy，
needle biopsy每次只取样一小点， 而且每次needle biopsy只做一处异常组织， 总共
需要做两次needle biopsy, 这样时间拖得太久了，而且needle biopsy不能保证刚好有
取样到癌细胞,可能误诊。
我想做excisional biopsy， 直接切除怀疑部位并取检。我的保险是HMO，不能cover在
别的医院的费用，别的医院也拒绝接受我自付款， 说是我有保险，就必须走保险。
请大家帮忙给些建议好吗？美国的医疗手续太复杂了，我该继续在美国这里等，还是干
脆回国做个切除手术好？ |

出事地点在Creston Needle (14er) in Sangre de Cristo range。Denver 附近的同学
可能不大熟悉, 我过去的两年经常在那儿附近出没。去年夏天爬了Creston Needle旁边
的Humboldt Peak, 那个Creston Needle看起来真的很needle, 至少是class 3.
那天下来时搭了一对小夫妻的顺风车，他们刚traverse了Creston Needle 和 Creston
Peak，那女的说在上面吓得都快哭了，感觉前后都是悬崖，必需要用绳子。可以理解啊
，换我估计也扛不住。 |

发帖数: 494 | 29 我们这次旅游行程的最后一站是西雅图Seattle，由于只剩不到1天时间就要搭乘飞机回
纽约，只能逛一逛Downtown几个景点：Space needle（顶层观景台360度俯瞰西雅图市
区）, Chihuly garden and glass Museum, Pike place market。
先说说这个太空针塔Space Needle，位于西雅图市中心，是1962年世博会的纪念建筑，
现在成了西雅图的地标建筑。这个太空针的高度有184米，称不上很高，放在纽约曼哈
顿估计很快就被高楼大厦淹没了。其特色在于在距离地面160米处是观景台和旋转餐厅
，从这里可以俯瞰西雅图360度的全景，包括可以远眺到150公里以外的Mt Rainier山。
电梯的速度比较快，每小时10英里，从地面到观景台只用了40秒时间。不过由于游客众
多，排队上下电梯就差不多用了1个小时。

国家公园。由于是携老人共游，且冬天日照时间短，计划不能安排得过于aggressive。
本版已有不少关于Grand Circle的大作，我把行程和简单的游记贴在这里(楼下），也

对于needle为一位或两位的情况，我们用个hashmap预处理出来。
然后将一个10位数拆成8个三位数
for example:
1 234 567 890 => (123) (234) (345) ...(890)
然后建倒排索引。
接下来的每一次查找，对于needle为一位或两位的情况，直接查表来做。
对于needle.length() >= 3的情况，我们用同样的方法将needle进行分拆，拆成多个
key。
之后用这些key拉出倒排链，做一次merge操作。在筛选过后，再暴力检查一下是否真含
有这个子串。
如果数据是随机的，这种方法应该不差。 |

so take my advice with a grain of salt (probably as you do with most advice).
I don't know about oak leaves. There are people saying their grass do fine
after mulching, but there is also this article to ponder:

Given the prevalence of HBV in China, there is no doubt that a very high
percentile (perhaps >50%) of the Chinese population has been exposed to HBV
at some point. However, that is not a strong enough evidence to suggest that

所以去needles基本上就留一天至少大半天吧,否则开车折腾够呛.我当时是把arches和
island in the sky转完了,晚上跑到monticello住,第二天再专门去的needles.
needles主要要hiking和开jeep上一些特难得路.island in the sky倒可以开车转转,不
想hiking的话可以不用hiking. |
