为我那一带基本都去过，其实不然，但是开始搞那一带，在我认识的人群80后中，我确
实可以算是一个poineer
回顾美西南——南犹他，北亚利桑那的历程如下
07年感恩节：大峡谷(South Rim to Pleateau Point via Bright Angel trail) ，Las
Vegas and Death Valley，这次可以看作是本人自虐游的开始，当时这12miles，
3000ft的爬升，真是让我非常痛苦
09年感恩节：Valley of Fire，Lake Mead，Zion(Angel's Landing，The Narrows) ，
Bryce Canyon，这一次主要目的就是Zion的Angel's Landing，第一天去竟然有人坠崖
封山，第二天一大早从住处Cedar City出发，先去Bryce Canyon，下午2点左右赶到
Zion，开始爬Angel's Landing，突然在危险路段开始的半山腰，风雨交加，觉得快死

Mt. Rushmore公园里头的30分钟的tour还是值得听一听的. 听完了, 最好是原路返回。
Rushmore 下午逆光，所以最好上午去Rushmore。
Option 1: Wind cave (candle tour, two groups/day, 10 people/group-3 hours),
or Jewel Cave tour(?)
Option 2: Custer State Park, 从Mt. Rushmore出来后, 经244, 87到Custer State
Park, 过了needle's eye就没有太多有特色的景点了。不想开山路的, 可以从needle's
eye原路返回. 想看野生buffalo的, 打听打听它们在哪里。（Someone said wind
cave巨没意思）
Option 3: Badlands national park-很美的相片的话, 可以把时间安排在sunrise, 和

发帖数: 10682 | 7 西雅图还不错，比我们这儿的农村强，国家公园出门就到，人也相对Nice（和南加比，
尤其是LA）。
Pike Place，也就是个国内一般的自由市场
市场外有个小广场，可惜看看水，还有不少醉鬼
Spece Needle 就不用我多说了
Spece Needle边上有个音乐馆和SciFi馆，可以随便看看
城区的公交系统很好，地下走Bus
图书馆，很新，建筑不错
Pioneer Square，可以看看地底下的废墟啥的
Mount Raineir，离西雅图很近，开一两个钟头就到了
俺们南加过去的，看啥都绿
玩累了可以住在那个Paradise Inn，一个挺旧的Lodge
Visitor Center
Olympic国家公园也可以呆两天，有温带雨林
也有Beach，上面有很多烂木头，可以在海边的小木屋住住
也有个老旅馆可以住
老旅馆有个很舒服的大草坪
而且靠着湖，傍晚很惬意 |

NIKON 系列连载接近尾声了. 这期的 FA, 曾犹豫再三要不要收入, 想想虽然 FA 有这
样那样的缺点, 但它的测光还是整个相机工业(不仅是NIKON)的一个里程碑, 不收的话,

Arches日出点我觉得最好的是windows section.一个经典的角度就是爬到North Window
后面有个小坡,爬上去以后可以以North Window为框,把远处的Turret Arch照进来.日出
的时候正好太阳照在面对镜头的那一侧.

日落点最好的自然就是著名的Utah地标Delicate Arch了.但是拍这个点得早一点去,因
为倾斜的关系其实真正日落的时候已经没有光照在Arch上了,而最好的光是在日出前半
小时到一小时之间.爬上去的trail大概要花一小时不到,所以日出前至少1.5-2小时要到
trail head开始爬了.
这是我第一次去时拍的,更好的角度是把Arch放在更右边,这样左侧远处的雪山就能进入
画面.
日出日落之间可以去Devil's Garden区域逛一下.但是不建议走到Double O Arch,因为
这个trail很长,后半段没太多东西可看.

西雅图的夏天真是舒服啊，天天晴天，万里无云啊，更不用说温度了，爆舒服!
3天的行程基本上是俩国家公园，每个1天，分别是North Cascades和Mt Rainier，最后
1天在西雅图downtown走亲访友。Olympic因为时间关系1天来回太赶了就没有去。
第一天去了北瀑布，水很清很美，色彩特别饱满，具体见Diablo Lake那张，入园不用
门票，人也很少，趴车很方便。我们只走了一个trail，看到了Rainy Lake，很美，很
有九寨沟的感觉。

第二天去了Mt Rainier，主要是看雪山去的。人非常非常多，入园15块。因为人多的缘
故，山上Paradise的趴车位满了，就必须做free shuttle上去而不能开车上山。导游都
说，平时因为天气原因，能看到雪山顶的时候不多，我们这个周末是一年来最棒的天气
了，完全无遮挡！
果然是雪山，在雪山脚下的时候，路边都有积雪，但是一点都不冷！

什么叫tourist trap,就是其实没什么好玩，没什么特别，但去的人还特多，绝大多数
人去的最主要的原因就是别人都去，所以去一下显示自己去过了。
以下是我觉得最无聊的，欢迎补充。
5) Key West
佛罗里达南部的一些小岛。Key West本身算不上差，但从迈阿密开车4个多小时就为了
去那些其实很一般的热带岛，甚至有人因为旅馆昂贵当天赶回，在时间和精力上是非常
的不值得。Key West的景色本身没多少独特性，就因为其地理位置所以很多人冬天喜欢
赶过去。当然不当天赶回在那里花200块住一晚也很不值。
4）Space Needle
Space Needle修建的本意就是为了吸引游客，但这个塔本身完全没什么好看的，高度其
实很矮，附近也乱糟糟就像个廉价的游乐场。你如果花钱坐上去之后第一感觉就是“就

Iao Valley
State Park走走。
从风景上看，Iao Valley State Park无甚特别之处
出名的是公园后方的高1200尺的山峰Iao Needle。相传就是在这里Kamehameha一世击败
了Maui人，最终统一了夏威夷王国。战败的Maui当地战士逃亡到Iao Needle上坚持抵抗
。不管你信不信，反正我不是不信。
山谷里的溪流
至此，夏威夷的旅行终结，不过回家的路却还有一番周折。我们按计划飞回Honolulu赶
7点多的飞机，到了机场才气愤地发现飞机已在5点飞走了。我第一个念头是我搞错了时
间，拿出机票的confirmation仔细看看才确定自个没错，显然是航空公司改变了航班时
间又没有通知我们。在柜台询问，航空公司的工作人员死也不承认是他们改变了时间。
我们心知肚明他们在扯淡，嘴上不承认，但却也不像通常乘客自己误了飞机那样处理，
倒是很卖力地替我们安排其他航班。还算幸运，赶上了晚一班去Dallas的飞机。但同时

每个细胞的迁移，运算得到迁移速度和角度。模式生物Dictyostelium做这个assay的时
候需要先polarize才能迁移。很多文章说某个突变体影响力迁移速度。问题是很多突变
体本身它没法被polarized。你说究竟是它的极化能力受到影响还是本身的迁移受到影

Maybe all this
is happening in some lab?
Under one lamp by day
and billions by night?
Maybe we're experimental generations?
Poured from one vial to the next,
shaken in test tubes,
not scrutinized by eyes alone,
each of us separately
plucked up by tweezers in the end?
Or maybe it's more like this:
No interference?
The changes occur on their own
according to plan?
The graph's needle slowly etches
its predictable zigzags?

Paracentesis只是范指的抽取体腔积液， 并没有具体指那个体腔，当然抽腹腔的多，
但也可能是胸腔，心包腔的。 |

迫到其他组织。位置很重要。
1. 脊柱肿瘤一般是要needle biopsy来确诊。但是有些肿瘤的位置是needle难以进入的
，或风险很高，这就需要手术切开活检。
2. 取一些小骨头是为了暴露肿瘤所在的位置不的不这样做的，一般不需要放回去。人
体的重量是靠脊柱来承重的，只有在肿瘤较大需要切除的范围很大以至影响人体的负重
，才需要靠脊柱固定来承担一部分重量。
3. 可以理解你的心情，但大可不必。尽管你的医生没有全部做，但他会把关的。

start iv 很像，就是找到vein，stick needle, push the tube in and the needle
will withdraw blood automatically. very easy as long as you can find a vein. |
