4月25日，Science杂志以长幅研究论文（Research Article）形式发表了朱平研究
组和李国红研究组合作利用冷冻电镜三维重构技术解析的30nm染色质左手双螺旋高清晰
三维结构这一重要研究成果。
61年前的同一天（1953年4月25日），沃森和克里克发表的DNA双螺旋结构模型使生
命科学研究深入到分子层次，开启了分子生物学时代。但任何有关DNA的生命活动都是
在DNA及其所缠绕的组蛋白组装形成的染色质这个结构平台上进行的。由于缺乏一个系
统性的、合适的研究手段和体系，目前对于30nm染色质纤维这一超大分子复合体的精细
结构组成还具有很大争议，染色质的高级结构研究一直是现代分子生物学领域面临的最
大挑战之一。

1990年代末，也就是三千万下岗之后，中国梅毒病例以每年30%的速度增长。
2010年仍然达到8.4%。2005年到2009年期间病例增长超过一倍，每10万人11.7例，而同
一年美国为每10万人4.6例梅毒。
2008年广东省的梅毒病例超过了整个欧盟。

文章是说过去一个世纪的El Nino比过去七千年的强度和频发度都要高很多，唯一的例
外就是17世纪初（early 1600's），那时的El Nino比现今还要厉害。文章同时说，现
在还不能下结论是否温室气体是造成这个现象的主要原因。
去年的美国特大干旱，比起2005年的大旱有过之而无不及。即使是在现代农业如此发达
的情况下，美国的农业依然受到沉重打击，就不难理解明末饥荒的恐怖程度。
总是有人说东林党和阉党之争造成了明朝灭亡，而这最多也只是一个触发因素，真正使
得明朝灭亡的还是全国性的灾荒。
按正史记载，明末时，河北五省连年大旱，颗粒无收。高产耐旱的玉米和红薯又因为西
班牙白人的控制，迟迟没有推广到中国。即使是在玉米红薯高度普及的清末，由1876年
El Nino造成的干旱，使得中国北方在1877-1878年之间饿死1300万人。

实现永久定居”（http://www.sciencemag.org/content/early/2014/11/19/science.1259172.abstract）。
大概的意思是， 这一地区早期人类定居主要是由小米维持的，而它们仍然位于海拔
2500米之下。接着，在大约3600年前，膳食大多由大麦（Barley，就是青稞）组成的人
类定居点开始向上移动至高达4700米的高度。这些采样的大部分遗址代表了沿着黄河及
其支流的早期农耕定居点。
这对于汉藏分化的意义是，从膳食考古证据看到的人群扩散是3600年前，如果对应的就
是遗传上和语言的群体分化， 那么比原来认为的汉藏在5千年前分离要迟。这和不久前
另外一篇文章通过分析藏人高原适应性基因得出的约3000年结论也相近。 |
