it in small cassettes, make paraffin blocks, cutting the paraffin blocks,
putting the cut slice on glass slide, stain the slides using hemotoxylin and
eosin dyes, and a pathologist to look at them under the microscope and
generating relevant paperwork. It takes about 3 days to 5 days in general to
finish the whole process.
Recovery is fairly fast is done laporoscopically. |

Negative，不需radiation。
biospy时左乳发现的两个tumor：
乳头处的tumor HER2是negative (IHC score 2+，FISH negative) ；
12点的tumor HER2是positive (IHC score 3+)。
手术病理显示有两块 specimen, 因为有re-excision。
但是只发现一个 tumor(乳头处)，1.5cm, HER2结果和biopsy时乳头处的tumor一样，
IHC score 2+, FISH negative，另一个(12点)不仅tumor没找到，biopsy时放到那的
clip也找不到。后来作过X-RAY， US， MRI，没有发现体内有什么残留。
本来医生说chemo会采用 TCH*6 with HERCEPTIN for 1 year based on the fact that

7月份b超是这样的，大家看看像不像恶性? 甲状腺双侧叶及峡部大小形体正常，被膜光
滑，腺体组织回声欠均匀，稍增粗，甲状腺左叶内见多处大小不等低等回声结节，较大
者位于腺体浅层，大小2.4*1.0cm,边界清晰。右叶中部深面似见0.7*0.4等回声结节，
边界欠清晰,CDFI上述结节周边可采集散在血流信号。左颌下见1.7*0.8淋巴结回声，左
颌下见2.1*0.9淋巴结回声。
8月份在国内另一家做的，想看一下那个大的变大没，没想到不同医院仪器不一样，没
法比较：甲状腺右叶1.79cm,峡部厚0.32cm,左叶厚1.89cm,实质回声增粗欠均，甲状腺

OB没这个责任，但也不能说你就该负全责，除非你们的保险条例上明文写了必须送某个
机构，那你有责任明确告诉医生送去那儿。看来你这是第一次，你可以Appeal相应的
EOB (Explanation Of Benefit), 你收到的EOB上应该有指示如何Appeal，列举各种原
因，比如 1. out of your control where the specimen will be sent to
2. Employee benefit brochure (or sth like that) not clear of that, or
employee were not educated about this during enrollment
3. 1st time waiver, etc.
同时和你们的HR谈谈，看他们能帮什么忙么。
最后Appeal也不行了，你还可以跟LabCorp商量给你个折扣价。

选一天去抽血.做NT检查的那天,NT检查的医生反复问我有没有抽血,哪天抽的.所以感觉
上第一次唐氏筛查应该是必须抽血的.我在网上考古说这个血是查X基因第21对染色体,
结合B超的NT 检查确认胎儿的健康.
第二次抽血的日期是护士告诉我的,她只写2 Weeks,我很晕,问她是两周内还是两周后.
她说是in 2 weeks. 我后来看我NT的报告单,上面写"THE SECOND TRIMESTER BLOOD
SPECIMEN SHOULD BE DRAWN BETWEEN 15 weeks 0 days and 20 weeks 0 days",我就在
15周的时候去抽的血.我把这部分上传上来,希望能帮助到大家. |

自己全付，保险公司，labcorp我都打了电话，没得商量。心里不服气，就跟我的OB医
院argue，打了无数电话，传真bill加statement，折腾了很长时间无果。labcorp都找
讨债公司来催款了，无奈付了钱。为了避免类似事件的重复，我最后通过诊所前台服务
生，找到我OB所在group的accounting,解释了情况，希望以后不要把我的specimen送到
labcorp了，结果她一个电话把事情解决了，labcorp全额返还了我的付款，可能adjust
以后会再给我寄新的bill吧，我理解，如果全勉就赚了，嘻嘻。
anyway,这种事情不是你的错，找保险公司和labcorp都不会搭理，错在医院没有及时更
新，送样品到out of network的lab。找医生没用的，医生只管看病，找负责送样的人
，医院的billing officer,让他们解决。但是我听说有些情况是in network的lab没法
做，只能送到labcorp这样out of network的lab.mm试试看吧！ |

I played against and watched Kobe Bryant at Lower Merion and in summer
leagues so I might know a little.
Strengths- Kobe's number one stregth is his maturity. He is a lot more
mature than a lot of the college players and some NBA players as well.
This is a huge asset because he isn't going into this without thinking
like some people might think. Extremely intelligent player and student.
