可以。但是floor plan在kitchen和餐厅之间还塞了一个奇形怪状的房间，一看觉得像
马马虎虎加建出来的。所以我们现在的计划是打掉几面墙，其中有一面目测是承重墙，
做成open kitchen。
求大家推荐structure engineer！万分感谢！！
PS. 请问大家如果要做rewiring，contractor的建议是干脆顺便把drywall拔了，往里
面加好insulation，rewiring走线也方便。我们觉得这听起来就是大动作，这一部分也
要申请permit对吗？谢谢大家！ |

The structure is plausible. Be sure it fits your system.
I doubt this will work with your jumping rebid Axx xxx AKQJ10x x,
which is "enough" in your method. However, seems here the responder
has to bid 4D with a moderate hand. I just wonder how you are going
to manage to get 11 tricks in diamonds, comparing with the laid-down
9-trick 3NT, which can never be reached now. I hate useing artificial
examples. But sometime, it may help clearify the point.

absolutely need a way to get in the auction with decent suit and less-than-
opening hand. If you play a really sound overcall style, you will need to
change other parts of the structure (such as wider-range jump overcalls).
You may even want to play different styles depending on vulnerability. Also,
it may be good on paper, but to prove it works (and reaps enough benefit to

我看了半天， 它读inode 时候还是要去读inode map 啊， 这个inode map 难道不就
跟以前的
superblock 里面inode 一样么？ 去读/写inode map, disk 一样还是会seek 啊。。。。 |

Addiontally, smartstruct tech may go beyond control field.
For example, sensor technology can be used for non-destructive
evaluation and testing purposes, which should be promising.
Another possibility is to use shape memory alloy for
rehabilitation of damaged structures.
Both of the foregoing topics have nothing to do with controltheory. |

then I may ask the following questions:
how can the smart structures use the actuators to adapt vious frequencies of
viberations
and how can the speed of the smart materials responsed to the viberation catch
up with the high speed of the viberation if it happens. |

monitoring for improving their performance, may be categoried as 'smart'.
Taking control technology as an example, it is mature in EE and ME, but many
people doubt its usefulnessfor bulky civil systems.
Passive control could be more conservative remediesand are easily
appreicaited by civil engineers.
The biggest question is: Is control tech really needed before we are actually
fully aware of the 'true' nature of struct |

Unless you have already had a couple of years working experience before you
hold your postgraduate degree, or else, you have no chance to get this wage
level.
I can give you the website of DOL, and here is the prevailing wage list in
different states. U can check with your local structural engineer's salary..
