a very hard problem is how to find those clicks which come from "get paid to
click on ads" users, or simply from bots on compromised machines.

最近刚拿到一个生物公司的technical support scientist的offer. 马上就要做决定了
。想问问版上对这个行业了解的人的看法。
先简单自我介绍，刚刚拿到PhD，不想做academia了，也不讨厌bench work.主要目标是
生物公司R&D。由于家庭和地域的原因，没能够投太多的简历（因为附近没有多少生物
公司），投的也都石沉大海。
由于一些偶然的因素，投了一个tech support的职位，也没想到会拿到他们的offer。
我知道那里面工作的大部分都是Master，连manager自己也是。感觉她就是做了很久，
拿了个MBA就升manager了。里面的好多人也是从同一个公司别的部门调过来的，这种内
部调动看似很普遍。
我现在的问题是，不知道这个行业除了一直做下去之外的发展前景如何？目前还有一个
短期博后的选择，不知道这两个选择那个对今后的发展（希望稳中有升）更好一点。
如果自己是做这个或者有认识朋友是做这个的，能不能给我一点建议，现在有点一头雾

3) Industry experience, 主要是面向客户的technical presentation skill以及所要
从事support的专业知识诸如免疫或者医疗产品等等。
去吧，放着那么好的跟人打交道的training不去而去搞什么瓶瓶罐罐，后悔都来不及。
去R&D做Bench，年轻时候还能混，越老越不吃香，越走路越窄，真喜欢搞科研，还不如
努力去当faculty，至少tenure了有保障。 |
